The BBC opens up some of its articles for public comment (sometimes referred to as "Have Your Say" - hence the name of this site).
The BBC comment sections don't currently allow viewing more than ten comments on each page, searching for comments from a specific user, viewing comments after they've been removed or, where a comment is replying to another user, the text of the comment if they haven't quoted it in the body of their own comment.
For those reasons, and others too numerous to remember, this site was developed to provide an alternative way to view the BBC comment sections.
To recover a small percentage of the development and hosting costs of this site "Amazon affiliate links" may appear on some pages.
If you finduseful it would be greatly appreciated if you occasionally click on one of those links. Doing so will place a time limited (24 hours) cookie into your browser. If you subsequently make a purchase from Amazon, within that 24 hour period, they will pay a small advertising fee.
The cookie expires automatically after 24 hours and does not cost you a penny.
