not funny
Why is the BBC not reporting on the return to violence in NI because of the madness that is Brexit John Major and Tony Blair warned leavers what the consequences of a leave vote would be to NI the Good Friday Agreement and peace for 20 years
Johnson and co did not care and went ahead with a deal that has a border in the Irish sea

The BBC has got itself so knotted up in PC and wokeism it cannot bring itself to allow debate on critically serious matters anymore. As for Boris, don't blame him for the way the electorate voted in Brexit his was just one vote in millions !

I buy a plastic bag for life which the supermarket replaces when it breaks, so I use the bag once, tear it, and get a new replacement bag. Bingo! Better then working around with lots of used plastic bags when I go shopping and looking like a tramp.

Stopped using Morrisons because they charge so much for plastic bags 'for life', when all i need is a cheap one. Trouble is I and many others have to call in unexpectedly and dont have one with me. Have walked out as a matter of principle with the shopping on the till a couple of times when faced with a daft cost for a bag for life. Just taking the mick!
Selfish idiots like you are responsible for a lot of the ills we suffer today. Buy two or three cloths bags that you can fold up and put in a briefcase, plan your shopping, and support small local shops like butchers bakers and greengrocers rather than the Big Four.
Don't be a muppet!

Plastic has now been demonised, for no good reason.

There's nothing wrong with plastic, it's a very good material.

But the problem is people chucking it in the river or wherever.

Plastic really isn't the problem - our littering is the real issue.

Seems the BBC allow us to comment on plastic versus paper, but not on controversial news.. Do I detect a agenda here? We are not invited to comment on Cameron's access to ministers, or vaccine issues, or yob culture, or social distancing rule-breaking. It would seem the BBC only allow discussion on issues they approve of.. Removed

Tim Davie runs the BBC now so yes, there is an agenda. Nothing on the Brexit induced riots in NI either.

Plastic like these should’ve had their day but lasts for years in micro plastic form. It finds its way to the food chain and is linked to cancer. Shopping bags and the debris released in each time man made fibres are washed releases more — and will continue to do so because it makes £.

We only get to comment on the frothy things in life that will cause no offence to any at the Woke laden BBC. I'm afraid the BBC has tied itself up in knots trying to be Nicey and Smashie .

It's obviously the policy of the BBC to set agenda which set people at each others' throats - the old tactic of 'divide and rule'. That way they deflect criticism of their own navel-gazing echo chambers.
The snp have committed £575 million of tax payers money to cover the debt owed by Liberty Steel to Greensills Capital to Swiss Banks Credit Swiss And Citibanks. These banks are calling in the debt and Greenshills are in Administration with liberty certain to follow suit to pay their debts to Greensill. Its a fine mess you got us into Sturgeon. Britain 2020.....Foodbanks.
Even following WW 2, Britain did not have foodbanks.
Trade and foodbanks!
Doesn't add up.
Foodbanks one would expect in third world countries....
But in the UK 2020.!!??

Mental health support in Scotland is virtually non existent.
Waiting lists to get seen are more than a year.
That's not the service just to be seen for an initial service.
Scotland's drugs deaths rates are the highest in the world.
Scotlandscare home death rates are the highest in Europe.
A mismanaged broken service

Once again it's rip-off time at your local Morrisons supermarket.

Paper bags are exempt from the Government levy as that only applies to plastic, so there is nothing in law to prevent shops from handing out paper carrier bags free of charge.

But of course under the guise of "saving the planet" they stand to make a lot of money from selling paper carrier bags at 30 pence a shot.
Dont buy the bags, then. Use the ones you have that still work. That's the whole point you utter dribbling moron. Removed
