As the deadline passes for Euro 2020's 12 host cities to reveal their plans for accepting fans, BBC Sport takes a look at each country's position.

Well this is a mess waiting to happen. I doubt most of Europe will have vaccinated by June. Its going to be a push for the UK to do it as planned by June. Hasve the tournament by all means, just unfortunatley no fans, which doesnt bother me in the slightes. Not like the average Joe can ever get tickets due to being overpriced and most going to corporate.

To be fair, I don't think they were particularly overpriced this time. I've got my tickets through to the final - although I imagine now I won't be using any. 2 seats for 3 group games, round of 16, QF, SF and F. 14 tickets in total, 800 euros.
In 2016, my 1 SF ticket was 295.

It's certainly doable. I've done it before and have been planning to do it for the Euros. And the new stadium is a selling point.
However, I'd still agree that the decision to use it as a host country is absolutely ridiculous. But so is the whole idea of spreading the whole tournament around Europe, with the big teams hosting their own games.

The obvious answer is to just use UK stadiums, due to how far ahead we are with vaccines . Get all the teams here a couple of weeks early and get on with it.

The one thing UEFA would hate to do is to ‘give’ the tournament to the UK.

Much better to get everyone galavanting around Europe when there is little or no point.

Oh and Russia obviously don’t have any coved problems at all!

It's a shambles. In the midst of a global pandemic, where unnecessary travel has been ruled out & social distancing is paramount to save lives, uefa blindly pushed on with its journey thru Europe euro's. It's an insult to all those who have been restricted in order to save lives. The respectful course of action should have been to either scrap the euro's altogether or change to one host nation.

1 host nation is to restrictive maybe 2 others with really good and well organised medical ring around the travelling fans and a ban on alcohol in those chosen citys during the matches and over into the next couple of days for the hangers on . Over 750.000 covid deaths in europe in last 6 months , THAT MUST SURELY SHAKE THE EUFA HEADS into reconfigurating thIS competition FOR ALL INVOLVED

Since when was Azerbaijan in Europe?.It's like Turkey and Israel it is NOT in Europe. Before anyone posts that a vanishingly small part of Turkey is in Europe.May I point out that it is just FIVE PERCENT of that countries land mass.Roughly the size of Greater London.

There's no rules regarding geographical location, if you are accepted as a member of UEFA then you're part of European football. Same thing with Australia, they left the Oceania federation and joined the Asian one.

First of all, you're way off:
5% of Turkey's land mass = (783,562*0.05) 39,200 square km
Greater London = 1,596 square km

And then, if we're doing it by land mass then we'll have to also kick out Wales, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, and many more.

Some of Azer is in Europe, and they're part of UEFA. Also very wealthy - but obviously that won't have anything to do with them getting games in Baku!

Israel is "European" due to special political circumstances - there is no way they could feasibly play in the Asian region.

Azerbaijan IMO just about squeaks in owing to bordering Georgia which is considered European.

The great mystery for me is how on earth Kazakhstan got accepted into UEFA.

Hosting in several countries across was a stupid idea even before this pandemic.

Yup, completely ridiculous, especially when all we hear is Covid & Cilmate change. If Switzerland finish 2nd in Group A the cities they play in in order are Baku -> Rome -> Baku -> Amsterdam -> Baku -> London. Madness!
