Increasing population + Increasing consumption = Infinite Growth + Environmental Damage

World Governments and large corporations desire infinite growth, but need the first two parts of this equation to achieve it and cannot avoid the environmental damage product (now a pandemic risk factor).

Therefore we need to completely change the system off of infinite growth for a sustainable future.

BT revenue will grow as OFCOM is letting them charge (FTTC / Copper) Consumers for full Fibre Network Build (BT asset paid for by Customer) ..... BT pays its pensioners 0.5% CPI uprating in April and puts its bills up by CPI + 3.9% .. and the Tories and Ofcom and the CMA just watch them try to create 4.5% Inflation (that the ONS fail to capture by design of CPI). Time to hang up on BT ..

The UK's economic recovery will partly depend on whether Bojo's bad Brexit deal is fully implemented or not.

At the moment, there are no checks on imported goods for fear of creating food shortages and panic buying. Equally, extra paperwork for exports is crippling UK-based suppliers.

Little is being done to address this because the focus is on Covid. Soon it will be too late anyway.

I totally agree ref reducing personal debt and unnecessary spending. We need a high tech economy and well educated work force.

Brexit voters are Murdoch's puppets. They voted for it, on their lies (propaganda). There is no argument here. There are no benefits to brexit. Overconsumption is arguably more of an issue than overpopulation. Americans and Canadians produce far more unrecycled waste per capita than most other countries, especially those which are apparently causing the climate crisis by being 'too populated' such as South Asian and African nations. Most of our air-travel pollution is caused by a tiny percentage of very frequent fliers or private planes.

Infinite growth cannot be achieved, but growth for millions of years is not unfeasible, which is a lot longer than the any human society thinks in terms of. The Sun will last for billions of years yet, the earth has vast resources, where we run low on rare minerals, technology will step in to utilize those that are more abundant (or extract them from moons, asteroids and other planets).

It will be clear that Brexit has far reaching implications.

No one wants to admit the reality. There are too many humans on this planet and the uncontrolled birth rate in some cultures is not helping. Nature has made its first attempt to cure the problem with Covid19. I am sure it will try again, maybe it will succeed better next time, but which of the 4 horsemen will it be. War disease or famine? good lord your a moron. Do you say this to people who've been diagnosed with a terminal disease?! - 'lets see some positivity'.
