Made up name just like your made up concerns. It's not your prerogative to decide what is valid discussion points that will not instigate arguments, troll posting or radicalism seeping into the HYS section.

If your comments are removed, revise your understanding of the rules. This discussion is about the worlds political instructions set up to tackle the warming planet, leave race out of it.

You have your posts removed because you refuse to read the rules of the HYS section, it's really straight forward pal. Good luck getting your rebate on your mandatory license fee, frankly I'm glad you paid so our children had extra education during the lockdown.

Grow the hell up, sit down, shut up and get on with life.

To your earlier comment, its like Climate Change the BBC only pushes an agenda despite the facts needing to be addressed by their clueless reporters.

You only have to take a look at the deplorable states some of our public parks have been left in in recent days to see the bulk of those living in developed nations haven't the faintest desire to halt pollution, nor tackle climate change. The younger generation would sooner party than protest: I'll bet some of those out leaving their rubbish behind were out in XR demos in 2019!

Humanity is doomed
'Humanity is doomed' ... it certainly looks that way. The human race just can not grow up, mobilise itself and get off its backside. Look around the world: wars, corrupt governments and corrupt police, education that prioritises dark age beliefs over science, religious nutjobbery, ... the list just goes on. Removed

Friend, that’s not how freedom of speech works.
Talking about over earth over populated, those people saying this I know they have children too, and most people that give birth to so many children are mostly poor people from poor countries from Latin America, Africa, the worst part of it they can't even care for the children. Removed

If the reports about global fertility being in ‘free fall’ are correct, the issue of ‘unsustainable population’ might be short lived.

WHO forecasts a 50% chance that the world population will peak at 11 billion by 2100. So 1:2 chance that it will exceed the 11 billion (an extra 3 billion in 80 years).

Although education & family planning works the poor need to have the time to have the basic education. Subsistence famers need their children fetching water, tilling etc to survive. They need reliable energy as the 1st step!

"So my plea is to avoid the 'happy talk' and recognise that this challenge is global and never has there been a challenge that requires the unity of countries all across the planet than now."

You regard reporting from a conference as brainwashing? You mean you don't like to hearr things from other people - just want your own opinions regurgitated?
I can see that the racist in the UK is also overwhelming this platform controlled by them since you are monitoring a comment from specific country outside the UK I will just stop using this platform. Removed

As usual it boils down to too many people on the planet! And the UN and every politician don't want to address this giant elephant in the room!

Unfortunately sticking your head in the sand won't make the problem go away, but it seems this is exactly what out glorious leaders seem to be doing.

I'd like to think that we'll find a way out of this but I'm becoming more sceptical by the day.
I've come around to the thinking that that it's actually quite rascist to point the finger at countries which still have high birth rates (generally African). May the elephant in the room is that this is a way to point the finger and avoid taking any personal responsibility? Removed

Pointing out a fact is not racist. Trying to ignore facts & tell people that there is not a problem doesnt help.

Have a look at:

https://population.un.org/wpp/Graphs/Probabilistic/POP/TOT/900

Set the chart to various regions to see where the population growths is forecasted. Are the UN racists?

The problem is 10% of the world's population:

So presumably you would support the withdrawal of healthcare services for the over 65's and redirection of those resources into contraception and education for those in poorer countries who currently do not have access to it. At the same time we should stop all research into cancer and heart disease I assume.

I imagine you're the type who sees most things down to racism/sexist/other isms - it's a default position amongst the terminally woke.
