Won because of better strategy.

And Verstappen being forced to give up a place for running off the track. Even though Hamilton ran off that part of the track on every lap......

a pretty luck win all things considered. Red Bull messed up their strategy, then the backmarkers helped Hamilton a lot (especially Russell). Then Verstappen is penalised for using track that Hamilton did the whole race

Red Bull made the right call on strategy, a few things fell in to place to give LH some luck in last 10 laps, but a lesser driver would not have won race. Max will be WC, several times over, just a matter of time. I seriously hope this season it comes down to last race between these two.
Not in the fastest car? Barely.

Let’s see what happens when Russell gets put in the car next year.

Tsunoda looks very exciting, if he keeps this up he could have a very successful career. Mick usually starts off slowly but gets better over time (and being in that dog of a Haas won't help much this year at all). The other rookie however looks to be worse than Yuji Ide

Usually I am someone who could be considered a "Hamilton hater" (though hopefully not a troll)... But watching the race today I don't think he did anything wrong. Verstappen had the chance to legitimately take the lead and the win with 4 or 5 laps to go and stupidly went to the outside. Lewis was only ever going to slide wide with momentum and put verstappen wide. Verstappen threw away victory

Verstappen is arrogant, impatient and too aggressive. He will keep making mistakes, and Hamilton is already under his skin, and will just needle him into making more mistakes. What controversy??? Surely there can’t be a different rule for Max vs the rest, even if we wish that could be the case to make the championship more "exciting". We have seen countless drivers in the past hand back places for completing overtakes outside of the track limits with nothing said afterwards, not sure why this is different.

Really? Imagine if the situation was reversed, and Lewis overtook Max off the track...
How 'controversial' would it have been if Lewis then slowed down to let Max overtake and Max won?
Somehow can't imagine there'd be quite as many people talking down the win if it had happened the other way around.

Love loath or indifferent it would be churlish to say hamilton is legitimately tagged GOAT by many fans and some pundits. It has a smack ulterior motive and having an axe to grind by him winning in a slower car today
Redbull had complained earlier in the race that hamilton was crossing the line on an exit, excellent that verstappen was punished on the very same corner for the same infringment.

Sorry but no, we've seen time and again if you have one of the top cars (this year Merc/RBT) then it's fairly easy to come through the field and finish ahead of most of the midfielders. Perez looked OK, held it together and did the expected job after a poor qualifying. Not bad for a first race with RBR but will need to do much more to prove himself better than the Juniors were.

Actually I think Hamilton won because RB messed up their tyre strategy. Hamilton has shown that he is capable of winning with a slower car on several occasions, but I don’t think for a moment he would be a 7 times world champion without the domination or reliability of the Merc. One remembers the field backed up behind Villenueve's Ferrari that drove "like a barn door" or Senna's 1992 victory in Monaco after Mansell had to stop for tyres.
