Wales win title as Scotland beat France
26/03/2021 | sport | rugbyunion | 3,580
Wales clinch the Six Nations as 14-man Scotland snatch their first victory in Paris since 1999 to wreck France's title hopes.
Brilliant performance Scotland although I don't know what the hell France were doing at the end with the game won.

Anyway moral tournament victory for the jocks having beaten the two best teams at their home.

Just a shame the poxy Welsh go down as winners.

The cretin Dulin, a horribly cynical Scottish team and Wayne McBarnes absolutely robbed France there. I started the game supporting Scotland but Barnes letting them slow down and kill ball illegally all game was crass. They should have been down to 13 in the first half alone.
Russell fluffed his Lions audition yet again and Stuart Hogg managed to lose his likely starting spot to Liam Williams.

Going from side to side, side to side - warps possession stats. You’ve clearly never played any level of rugby, as France should have quite clearly won that game. Ignoring the fact that they didn’t put it dead, they were the better side. You can ramble on your sofa about stats - fact is they were generally always ahead and coughed it up at the end.

Armchair fans do my head in.
And one doesn’t see this amount of obnoxious, trolling going on when England win or do well.

I guess it’s endemic to the little nations to act this way when they have a modicum of success. And you lot bleat on about the arrogance of the english - at least we can’t be accused of xenophobia like yourselves.

Scotland would have beaten us if either Sanjay was red carded (for doing something as bad or worse than Russell tonight) or they had been awarded the pen at the end they should have had. We scraped through to win this tournament undeservedly. It annoys me as we don't get a true reflection of where we are and how much better we need to be and then our support seems shocked when we lose again.
Odd course there’s massive work to be done replacing ageing stars but, ‘scraped through, undeservedly won’. Professional sport. You wouldn’t say that face to face with those boys would you? Thought not. Beat what’s in front of you and and do what’s required to win. Idiot. Removed

The freak results in this year’s Six Nations will not affect the forthcoming Lions selection process. Gatland has already confirmed that he will build his first team around the core of the England forwards and back line - with some extras from the Celtic nations like maybe Zammit on the wing and Hogg as utility back. He knows that’s his best chance of victory.

Some of the comments on here are truly extraordinary. Anyone who seriously thinks that Wales won the championship is utterly deluded - and didn’t watch the same campaign as the rest of us. Although England didn’t win the grand slam this time around (owing to grotesque refereeing decisions in three games) they were by far the best team - and certainly the “People’s Champions”.

being Welsh must be so difficult, they use words like arrogant to describe other teams yet being an English man who accepts his team under performed this year I feel sorry for them.

The Welsh are the worst losers and the worst winners I have ever seen.

no class, mention England in every boast as if they have suffered at thier hands so often they live rent free in their tiny heads.
And there you go 3 comments from 3 Welsh clowns who do what they do best when they don't hear what they want to hear.

Stamp their feet

Pathetic

Wales are the luckiest 6 nations winners ever. Both Scotland and France were better than them but they got the rub of the green.

You may not want to hear it but its the truth.

I was glad to see Scotland win, after some of their weaker supporters had spent the whole week moaning about a couple of players not being available. Fair play to the team, got on with it and won. Maybe some of their supporters will show a bit more faith in them next time instead of spending their time making excuses in advance.

well done Scotland But was looking for the Matt Dawson ditty of the Scottish win will haunt the French FOR years to come!!
BUT it would be better if he tried to address the woeful Eddie and the crock rods attempt of a 6N's campaign over to you MATT!!!!
Yes, Saws is such a prat. With nothing to grow about, he laid into Wales in a most disgusting way last week, band now does the same to the Scots! And both nations finished well clear of his! Saws these days would struggle to beat Phil Tufnell in a pub crawl. Removed

The premiership is the highest league in Europe & Bristol are top so they are the best team in Europe right now not Wales.
The english.premiership is inferior to the pro 14, and no doubt about it.
And they can hang their heads in shame for stopping Scottish players from turning out in a 6 Nations decider in Paris. The lowest of the low for these pig heads prats.

Out of interest how do you figure your first statement out?
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me which first choice Scottish players were stopped from playing last night.
Your ability to keep going and your rage against England is something to behold but it does bring into question your mental health.

Dulin with typical French mentality gifted Scotland the game.He had possession clock was in the red. What does a frenchman do?Not kick it out.Not in French mentality.Runs it into trouble pinged for holding on and credit to Scotland they kept going 20 phases to secure a first win in Paris in 20 years.
My daughter tells me that dulin is French for dull one. While Cretin.... Well I think you can guess that one! Removed

A great six nations... what have we learnt? Apart from the Nigels being totally humiliated we now know wales, Scotland and Ireland are all progressing well. France have left doubts in people's thoughts.
Amazing insight.

Well with a read of this analysis.

Hmmmm, all totally unrelated words, that is a strange approach. I like the double spacing too or are the spaces supposed to hold the words that hold the key to unlocking the meaning. I agree though that it was a fine win for Scotland.

Yes that lucky 42 point margin of victory just meant we sneaked over the finish line. Troll attempt score 2 out of ten
Don't worry about hahaWales. He's the troll toilet that the rest of us crap on from a great height. There's a similar English troll on here too. We do the same to him. His screen name is some irrelevant and far away date stamp in time when some unusual blip or anomalies of rugby happened. Removed

Which of these do you think the RFU will resort to, following this year,s tournament?
1. Sack Eddie Jones
2. Sack Owen Farrell and Eddie Jones
3. Pay even more money to get ov erseas players to come to England and play for them.
4. Alter the rules so that, as in the world cups in soccer and rugby, all the matches are played home at twickenham.

ALL OF THE ABOVE. Whatever gives England as many edges as possible. If that means cheating, tricking, bribing, quid pro-quo-ing, conniving, and skullduggery-ing - who cares. After all as we are often told, the history books will only show a WIN. hahahaahaha. Poor England. Removed
