If you read a lot of the feedback on why people voted to leave the EU, then you will note that the majority voted yes, to recover sovereignty and the ability to make and control UK laws. Suspension of vaccine from EU may slow roll out a bit - but not hugely, and Pfizer will find a way of routing from other facilities. The consequential legal hit on EU will probably pay for UK's vaccination bill in total. Bad for their reputation for interference on international contracts. UK will rightly pressure NHS suppliers to return production to UK. Bad news for Belgium, Ireland etc

The vaccine rollout has become politicised which is a shame. The UK invested heavily in the not for profit AZ vaccine while the EU dithered then opted for the very expensive Pfizer jab while rubbishing the AZ. They have been caught out and are trying to cover their backsides by blaming anyone and everyone. Let's play nicely and get back to normal ASAP.
Boris turning up in Fermanagh on the day NI got loads of AZ jabs that came from India. It was the same week that Ireland go no jabs from AZ. He was clearly there to goad Ireland. The delay is caused by AZ not being able to manufacture jabs and not doing correct trials and tests. They are 100m jabs behind where they are contracted to be. Thanks in advance,

There’s a silver lining to every cloud.

There’s more chance of the Lib Dem’s having enough MP’s to fill a decent sized minibus than a Rejoin Party winning a majority at the next election. ??

The UK has witnessed EU failure, incompetence and malice at first hand and is just waiting for the Remainer’s to fall on their knees sobbing for forgiveness.

Brexy Brits know why.

True the EU's contract failure to ensure their vaccines delivery schedule BUT they got a GREAT price as they kept bragging. UK contract ensured we got a delivery schedule and we weren't too bothered about the price. Now the EU is stuffed. They can't sue AZ so they attack UK because we vaccinate EU citizens before they do. But hey, do try & defend the indefensible.
Germany is vaccinating with Moderna. Italy is prosecuting nurses and doctors whose patients die within hours of receiving Astra vaccination. Astra’s clinical study in the US was stopped because too many subjects got seriously ill.
But you just keep on congratulating yourselves..

Boris Johnson has complete mishandled this by trying to start a trade war over vaccines. The figure speak for themselves, 40m + doses exported from the EU, zero from the UK. If it looks like a ban, acts like a ban, then it probably is a ban.

EU signed their deal before UK did.

We were told FTSE would crash - underperformed all peers
We were told there would be massive food and medicine shortages - food prices up, not enough meds to go round

The City of london would leave - 3 trn in assets gone
emergency budget with more austerity than 2010 - pending

The reality is that they were months behind us in approving the vaccine, have failed to licence a key EU supplier, propagated unproven, and since de-bunked, information that increased vaccine hesitancy and many of them have unused doses to administer. There poor vaccination rate is not AstraZeneca’s fault!
