Wales denied Grand Slam in epic finale
20/03/2021 | sport | rugbyunion | 3,494
France inflict heartbreak on Wales as they seal a 32-30 victory in dramatic fashion to deny Wayne Pivac's side a Grand Slam in Paris.
Proof at why Bath players should never be allowed in international squads, Faletau cost Wales that game I'm afraid.

They should stick to snorting coke at the Rec instead

Wales are cynical; England are just useless, arrogant, and stupid, and led by the most useless, arrogant, and stupid of captains. Without Farrell, they might be a competent team, but he has stamped his petulant mark on the side. Get a life. Wales did not cheat; they just took advantage of a bunch of neanderthals who were caught napping. As with most games this year, the officials made a poor decision. Itoje got the winning try because the onfield decision was a try. This in spit of the fact that the ref could not and did not see him ground the ball. Look at the replays to see the ref's positioning. If he had called no try, that would not have been overturned. France may well have held on to win.

Galthie should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute his behaviour at the end and some of his coaches was disgraceful. From breaking Covid rules to apparently condoning eye gauging if the IRB had anything about them at all he’d be charged. You can’t get players sent off in a game of rugby anymore for goodness sake the officials have multiple camera angles and take an age to decide.

The referee bottled it. When the third Welshman should have gone to the bin he only issued another warning despite all ready warned the Welsh and binned 2 of them. There was a case for a red card for continuing to disobey a referees instructions. Its also called cheating. The better side won.
You are wrong. And your team lost to all the Home nations in the same season. Pathetic. Removed
Still pmsl the way Wales choked last night, and the comments from people like Jack Garvey, saying the refereeing was iffy is just the icing on the cake.

There is no doubt that the welsh/french game will have raised the profile of rugby in England. The sound of whooping and guffawing coming from over the horizon was a joy to hear and just look at all their supportive comments. Quality rugby will always provoke a reaction. The welsh and french teams will continue their building process which is plain to see and as evidenced by the table. Diolch ??

Simple fact is that when England show up, they win the Six Nations. The only reason this HYS even exists is because England didn’t show up this year. Must absolutely burn Wales that their success still relies on English failure.

Several huge moments of Karma, from previous games, built up to those last few seconds, after the ill disciplined yellows.
The right result, in a pulsating finale.
The Scots could still do the Welsh a favour, but I think the French will come flying out of the blocks.
If they can get a couple of early tries they'll get the point and margin.
