Can’t believe I’m writing it but first team I’ve ever watched a team actively playing for red cards. Anyone in doubt, see the 20th odd minute when a normal, fair clear out is met with half a dozen welshmen squealing for a head shot.

Disgrace to the sport.

He made several terrible decisions and even needed TMO Barnes to teach him the rules when he thought France keep penalty advantage after foul play.

That said, Wales should be ashamed of that last 20.

Silly comment. Today they did bottle it snd should have won the game as were the better team for 65 minutes. To say they are bottlers in general is wrong as they have Ron more Grand Slams in the 6 nations than England and smashed them 30-3 a few years ago when England bottled it big time. What has worked for us thus far kind of backfired. Taking Biggar off meant we lost control when we knew we'd be under the cosh.

Ref and TMO did well other than the penalty try that should have been given.

Discipline went to pot and lucky not to end with 12.

The sealing off was a clear penalty so we can have no complaints.

Disagree - awarded Wales a try when it was clearly held up. Refused to check a legitimate France grounding claim in the last 10 minutes. Talked a stonewall yellow against Wales into a red against France and a talking to Wales, and pretty much ignored persistent Welsh fouling in the last 15 minutes until they had no option because Wales lost the plot.
Poor tournament for the officials generally

So close to completing the red card grand slam.
Poor decision from the ref to not send another Wales player to the bin in the last 10 minutes.

But it is a fact that the ref was going to give France a penalty after the red card because he thought "it was still under the advantage" from penalty blue. Barnes corrected him that foul play changes that.

Fabulous game of rugby. Feel sorry for Wales. It will be remembered for 3 refereeing decisions.

1. The penalty poor luke pearce admitted he was wrong, which was the difference.

3. Liam Williams yellow was never a penalty or yellow.

Poor luke pearce will feel embarrassed after seeing the highlights.
