People will ask the question about what Sam Curran brings to the side, bu he hasn’t had the opportunity to show what he can do.

Today when others were being dispatched Morgan continued with them and only have Curran 1 over, (including a dropped catch).

He then gets demoted below Jordan and Archie so only faced 3 balls ( striking at 467).

He needs a chance before being judged

The bowling today was a disgrace. The yorkers went for one or none, so our bowlers repeatedly bowled length or half track instead. Time and again the ball went to the boundary but they just kept doing it.

A very disappointing end to the series. Skill levels and thinking by the bowlers needs to improve markedly. They are all very experienced, no excuses for the contagion of rot today

The difference was in the bowling units. Wood in particular persisted in bowling too straight or worse. Noone thought to try a line outside off until Jordan right at the end. Archer was the pick for me as he tried to vary his pace and length.

If Sam Curran plays he should get 2 overs at the start in the hope he may get some swing. As it is he is a passenger. England have some thinking to do

Now I'm not the biggest fan of his behaviour. However, I'm not sure why opposition fans take offence to him being like that when many of their own players do it too, and as a team have been doing long before Kohli. Have you seen Stokes and how he can behave? Do you remember how England behaved when India toured? Big fans of them as cricketers but criticise all bad behaviour equally and fairly.

Kohli best batsman in the world but not the best captain even in the team. Make Rohit the limited overs captain and Jinx test team captain.

England are still the best white ball team in the world. Indian batsmen can change any game at anytime sometimes and there isn’t much that can be done.

Having said that they will probably lose to Bangladesh in a knock out match in the upcoming World Cup, so England won’t need to worry about Rohit Sharma and co in any one off final. More runs in 40 overs today than in the entire 3rd test match

Morgan has contributed absolutely nothing to the series - occupying the crease hardly scoring, handling his bowlers atrociously and should, but will not be, ripe for the chop unless he goes up the order to replace Bairstow who must now be relegated from the squad. Agree, he is one of several passengers in this team at the moment. He cannot justify his place on captaincy skills at the moment either - this tactic of bowling balls at chest height is giving away far too many runs and its happening every game; India's bowling far harder to hit for boundaries. Batting looks clueless as well just swishing wildly at balls not there to hit. Try pushing for twos.

A 36 run defeat is a huge defeat for the T20 format. If England won with this margin the headlines would read "England thrashes India".

Too many spectators in England side, why pick Curran if you don’t bowl him or bat him. Morgan needs to give himself a go, we are wasting Stokes. Need an extra batsman in the team, high is Root, he’s our best player of spin and can bowl a couple of overs too. Don’t think Jordan is good enough, our worst bowler by a distance.

Well beaten by India, despite winning most tosses. England’s white-ball team, like the red ball one, appears to be going backwards. Too many mistakes in selection and rotation. As I mentioned earlier, England are a good team but the favourites are obviously India. India have exposed England weakness in the middle period of the game. They have lot of work to do if they have any chances of winning World Cup in India. Well done India on winning the series.

Firstly, well deserved India - great comeback from 2-1 down. #1 for the World Cup. England were 130-1 after 12 and then completely lost their way in the next 4 overs. Same as last game. 2 players short at the moment with Jordan and Curran contributing nothing (apart from the champagne moment of Jordan catch!). Great learning ahead of the WC, and England will definitely be up there.

India's batting(Kohli too) = OUTSTANDING!!!
Bhuvi was AMAZING WITH THE BALL!! Hardik Pandya proved to be an amazing allrounder with quickfire 39 not out and a great fightback with a wicket and 8.50 economy rate on a belter of a pitch. Shardul Thakur, amazing. Malan, amazing. Chris Jordan Fielding (WOW, jaw-dropping) and Nataranjan, great and relatively economical with the kind of pitch produced!

Just like the test matches, India lost most of the tosses, had to cope with worse conditions but still emerged victorious. Even though England are ranked no.1 but India were clearly the better side in terms of batting and bowling and handling the pressure. And all this without two of their top players Bumrah and Jadeja. Well done to them and well done to England for two gripping contests.

I think to be fair India didn’t actually have the worst of the conditions in the Test matches despite all those green top seamers’ paradises their grounds men prepared. Oh, hang on a sec... PS and before the AngloSaxon sounding username usual suspects bite back, it’s mainly the variable weather that makes playing in England tricky for the touring side, not carefully doctored pitches.

Indian fan here. Final score doesn't reflect how close it was for the 10 overs for England's innings. Bhuvi's four overs were the difference in the end. Can't wait until Bhumra is back too.

Very well said too, and I totally agree. England were certainly in with a chance, and India were definitely wobbling, but for some smart bowling and cool heads turned the screw. Great stuff from India in fairness.

Bhuvi Kumar’s excellent bowling was the decisive factor. His effort of 2/15 from 4 effectively made it 210 off 16 overs with only 8 wickets in hand for England. Very tough and lots of pressure on.

I just wish that bowling efforts like that were recognised by the often inept MoM deciders.

England are still awesome in this format but India were too good today.

Shocking bowling from Jordan AGAIN, some of it quite idiotic. Small changes can make a big difference and this bowling lineup needs adjusting, otherwise, NZ, Australia and SA will take us out quite easily. The biggest worry is that ALL our bowlers seemed clueless as to how to change their line/length when Kohli started teeing off instead of cosely watching how he plays and then adjusting.

Well played India, England with a lot of work to do in these next 7 months. Malan did very well to get to 50, then really slowed the pace down when we needed to up the run rate. Also as good as Butler is opening, he is by far our best finisher. With Stokes and Bairstow (Hales as well) that can open aggressively I really think we need one of them opening with Butler coming in the middle order.

Well done India but it's the World Cup that matters.

Our bowling was expensive and our batting went from pulling this off & having a successful run chase to throwing away our wickets away.

As good as India were we contributed heavily to this loss.

Anyway it's the World Cup that matters but well done India. ????

Great stuff from India in fairness.

Bhuvi Kumar’s excellent bowling was the decisive factor. His effort of 2/15 from 4 effectively made it 210 off 16 overs with only 8 wickets in hand for England. Very tough and lots of pressure on.

I just wish that bowling efforts like that were recognised by the often inept MoM deciders.

England are still awesome in this format but India were too good today.

England opted for tearaway pace and relied on bouncing India out.

India backed the skills of their bowlers who aren't as big rockstars hogging limelights, but look at their skills. They bowl in mostly in mid 80s still so effective.

India's variations in bowling department is scary!

Well beaten by India, despite winning most tosses. England’s white-ball team, like the red ball one, appears to be going backwards. Too many mistakes in selection and rotation. New management urgently required to replace Silverwood and Smith who have been outsmarted at every turn by a top Indian set up - from their team management and captaincy to grounds preparation.

Considering this was largely India's second-string bowling attack with Bumrah, Jadeja, Shami etc out of the team plus they lost the toss in 4 out the 5 matches in the series & so had to bowl in difficult dew-covered conditions, this was impressive by India in beating the No 1 rated T20i country in the world as well as a full-strength England side.
