Let the excuses commence! Was it the pitch? Was it the lights? Was it the umpire? Was it the aeroplanes flying over the stadium. Also suryakumar was never out and the fielder clearly cheating, but let’s not mention that.

Making my self an idiot? By stating the obvious?
Poor England can't find a way to win despite winning toss and batting last with dew advantages. That too after selection bluders of egoistic, bad-tempered Kohli at the helm who can't ever choose a right team. What hope does England have against a full India side with Bumrah, Shami, Ashwin with Rohit Sharma in captain's seat?

Let's all blame the pizza delivery boy for a change today?

I don’t mind the umpires taking their time, as long as they make the right decisions but no T20 game should last over 4 hours.

I think this is more down to how umpires are directed to resolve appeals. It used to be that the benefit of any doubt was granted to batsmen, but directing umpires to declare a "soft signal" of out.not out negates that benefit. If there is doubt in the onfield umpire's mind that doubt should automatically be in favour of the batsman and any "soft signal" to the 3rd umpire should be "not out".

Ignorant comment with more than a hint of bigotry behind it, I suspect.

In 2019 GB was the fourth most successful sporting nation only beaten by USA, China and Russia and at least two of those cheat like hell.

How much of a man do you have to be, to think all girls need to print like "girls"?

To say atleast two of them cheat as hell shows bigotry as well. Who in the past week was caught doping in cycling ? I bet if it was Russia, their entire Olympics team would have been banned for next 10 years. I also can bet that this post will be removed. Removed
I am not buying your claims of "us", Dr Maggie. Your English is proficient, but I'd lay money on you not being British. A few people on here have adopted female English names and then gone on to have a go at England. Subtle, like calling yourself Gooner1999 and then praising Spurs all the time... Removed
Suit yourself. I really do not care what you think. What I think is far more important to me. And I think the English fans who are posting inflammatory comments need to tone down. If you can do something about that well and fine. If not, you are one of them and I really do not need to respect that, especially since you are out questioning others all the time. Removed
Great game on TV today, Afghanistan got out of the blocks quickly in the powerplay and notched up 198, comfortably beating Zimbabwe in 1st T20I; hope they'll be in the World Cup. Gurbaz a real talent. Removed

Hi Maggie,
Now you mock me with no provocation and judging by your latest posts, you are only on here to troll people. My mistake thinking you were a genuine cricket fan making balanced judgements.
I mocked you?

I don't know if you read my comment (that I made in a light vein) correctly.

Hi Maggie,
Your've just posted below your complaint re others posting as you call it
' obnoxious stuff, ' but most of your today's posts have been in similar mocking tone. You can't take the moral high ground when you are as guilty as those you condemn. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I am absolutely fine with decision. It was 50-50 and it went aginst India. What I am saying is that as soon as that 50-50 decision would have gone in favour of India everyone would have start complaining of bias and poor umpiring standard and somehow incorporated Virat Kohl's pressure on umpires in it which is absurd and shows 2 faced nature.
Being 2 faced is very English indeed. Removed

I didn't see anyone cheat. If you're referring to the Malan catch, I think he prob had a finger under it but people saying you know if you've caught it is nonsense. Remember Rahane taking a catch in test that he didn't claim but replay showed it was out?
People who have played cricket to any decent levels know that the ball was grassed by Malan. As any honest Englishman (if you find one) and he will agree Removed
