Personal view is they are all overpaid (and overvalued)...not just City players. At every club. It is a core problem with football and the player/agent/club structure. Players seemed reluctant to take too much of a pay cut last year, and many are now seeking back pay. Everyone is suffering, but surely earning 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 million per year must soften the blow.

Knowing UEFA and their anti-English mentality it'll be City v's LFC. They'll want Real to progress so it'll likely be them who get the plum Porto tie.

The draw it won't be is Bayern v's Real, they'll want both in as long as possible. People say the draws are random, like hell they are.

Prediction.

City v's LFC
Real v's Porto
Chelsea/AM v's Bayern
PSG v's Dortmund

City/Bayern/PSG/Real semis

How so? City finished 18 points behind Liverpool last season. Was that also a bad defence of their title?

In fact, when city won the league in the 1930’s they were relegated the next season. I’d say that is a worse defence.
