This game will give me nightmares - Arteta
21/03/2021 | sport | football | 901
Mikel Arteta says his side's performance will "give me nightmares" after Arsenal come from 3-0 down to draw at West Ham.
As a Liverpool fan apologies on behalf of so-called fellow reds fans who plague these HYS with bile and abhorrent comments. You don’t seem to get it as bad with other teams fans.
The facts are that Liverpool have been poor and there are 6 or so teams in the PL that are better than us.
WHU & Arsenal has poor seasons last year yet their fans were able to show grace and humility.

Cheeky!!!
Another classic between these 2! They’ve got previous - remember Arsenal beating West Ham 3-2 in 1979 FA Cup Final. West Ham pegged it back to 2-2 only for Alan Sunderland to win it in last minute.
That final always comes up in pub quizzes as 2 of the goalscorers that day were Sunderland and Villa!

Oh dear! It was Manchester United who Arsenal beat in the 1979 cup final 3-2, though yes, Alan Sunderland slid in for the winner in the last minute. West Ham beat Arsenal one nil in the 1980 final. Ricardo Villa played for Tottenham in the 1981 final, and scored a goal in the replay. Remind me not to be on your side in any pub quiz.

Just 3 points between London's top 3 teams in the top 4 race and then quite a drop off down to the South London mid-table clubs Woolwich & Palace.

It will be a close thing which of Palace & Woolwich finish the 4th placed London club.

If the standard improves due to superior players joining the league and the spectacle is competitive, sure why not, however if the games clash with the men’s fixtures then most likely not to be honest.
I really enjoy watching sports regardless of gender, now that I am passed the age of being able to compete myself. How about you, you gonna tune in occasionally?

Have people noticed Arteta never gives credit to opponents when Arsenal have lost or drawn as has so often been the case..it's always we've been doing to hurt ourselves etc

This isn't much off youngsters losing & saying well we didn't want to play/win anyway.

It doesn't endear anyone to the fella does it

Arsenal lose or draw so many games & are mid-table again as lots teams are better than them

Unlike Woolwich Arsenal which is historically factual team name of the club, the terms you use are terms of abuse aren't they and there they are above the abusive terms. No mention of the match the 3-3 draw or quotes from it etc at all just abuse that has nothing to do with it.
