Joy Neville TMO gifts England's Itoje a try he clearly did not ground at Twickenham. Gifted Hill a try that was clearly a double movement against Italy. Biased officiating to England once again.
Watch the media bury a controversial England non-try. In Ireland we know how bad an official Neville is.

Thank God we didn't have to suffer the dirge that had been served up so far this tournament. At last a game where 14 v 15 or 16v15 didn't bore us or cause controversy. Let's hope for a fair contest between France and Wales, privac needs to see what his team can do in a fair contest!
Ref favoured eng so much is unbelievable.
There are so many comments on here that justify why the whole planet can’t stand the English. Boorish in the extreme, arrogant and poor losers. It seems you are the only ones who haven’t moved on from the days of the British empire, the rest of us have so get over it and try some humility.

Well said. I posted something calm and neutral below and still the arrogant English mocked it. No wonder they are the most despised nation in the world . No more mr nice guy

you need to get out more. lockdown has clearly addled your brain.
Oh dear another one so upset with England winning rather than concentrating on their own teams success! Love it!

No way Origo.Check out the seventies in amateur days the game was far more exciting to watch & play. Players instinctively ran with ball in hand. The players are much larger and fitter now so the governing bodies have had to police the contact area to avoid litigation and it is spoiling the spectacle as a result.Good game today but that is not the norm in this day and age unfortunately.
I suppose Twickenham has retractable grass over the try-lines that raised when Itoje touched the ball down?
Did the TMO receive a brown envelope in the car-park from the "Fortnums chaps" when checking the try?
I suppose an England player tickled a French player in the lead up to the try that was missed?
I supposed Plaid... sorry, Nigel Owens, will say the try should has been disallowed? Removed

That's better England, loads of fight and you got the win.
Well done for beating the best team in the competition this year, Looking forward to France winning by 20 against Wales next week.
Really enjoyed the game whatever way it went.

All the Welsh fanatics who think they are better than France are deluded.
Wales have played some nice rugby at times, have had the rub of the green and showed they are growing as a team but this French team is another level very impressed with them.
I think they will destroy Wales next week, i also think they will do that to most teams who visit Paris.

i am surprised that the right wing bbc did not have a headline of England smash France
What a game! By far the best contest of the tournament. Happy with the result but wouldn’t have begrudged the French a win if they’d edged it. Also excellent officiating by the Match Officials team, set their expectations for the players, let the game flow and got the decisions correct when needed. Wayne Barnes and his team had a good game earlier too.
Rugby is a game where 16 anglo saxon are playing 15 french. Late try awarded by the same vile irish ref that riped of french team in the last cup

Yeah the game has become farcical now. Other teams need to get together and boycott matches with England until this mess is sorted out.
A contributor below called Spook stated: "France have a problem with their last 20 mins. England don't."
Hahahahaaa!! England don't have an issue with their last 20 mins? I almost choked on reading that, er, joke? Hahaa. How did England's last 20 min game management work out against Scotland and Wales Hehehee. You are too funny and the facts always get in the way, don't they me old mucker?!

Celebrate what? A dodgy win at home that makes you 2 from 4 not exactly worth celebrating really is it?
I love the masking tactics the Welsh fans use. Blatantly any one who has half a brain knows that itoje's was a try. They would also know and acknowledge the shocking performance of that French ref gifted Wales the win two weeks ago and the softest red card effectively prevented Scotland winning too. Don't get too big for your boots boyos you ain't that good.
i must have been watching a different game to everybody else nothing impressed me ' england france just two average teams in the way they play and yet some of the tripe that has been coming out of these ex english players mouths over the last 24 hours is shocking ;dawson said a lightbulb moment ' will carling said a hell of a game mike tindall said make this the norm ' garbage team 'cmon wales
Confidence affects form far more than determination. Basic psychology. Still, enjoy your stay on fantasy island.
We don’t need to worry about their determination. Merely their play. Yesterday they were not at their best. They will need to be against us. Because we will be. The winner is not a foregone conclusion. But it’s the only match of importance next week

It’s cute that you claim that is arrogance. There is nothing factually incorrect in anything I have posted. But well done on looking on ihysdb to try and find something embarrassing or incriminating.
I am not a nationalist, but I do unreservedly and unapologetically support self rule for Wales, since we will never be a union of equals under current rules

The euphoria that you witnessed after England somehow scraped that dying seconds of the game win, was what you would call relief. England were on the ropes and reeling - after bog losses to Scotland (Calcutta Cup won) and to Wales (Triple Crown won - gRand Slam ON). So, clutching at straws I'm afraid, and hey, all wins count, no matter how desperate they appear.

Many of us also noticed this: both those tries were gifted. Itoje failed to ground it - the cameras showed it - all of them - no try, but the ref awarded it, he meant to say no try - odd; Watson was so offside, he was in Italy with a nice latte! haha - Poor Eggland. I'll say this about sad England, they're grifters and plucky during these dour and "trying" times, they'll "try' anything for a win.
LOL.

If so happy, why all on here, and you'll find he does actually say that in his post if you bother to read it! Still you never have dealt with reality!
So, see that Table, the Top 3 are Wales, Ireland, France. The Table also shows that next to Italy, England are easiest to score against - shipping a whopping 89 points in 4 games - 22 point a game! Eggland could also only manage 94 points so far, to Ireland's 104 pts, and Wale's mighty 134 - which is almost 34 points a game to England's paltry 23 a game. Eggland are struggling. I rest my case!!
The Table is taking shape now - more reflective of the entire tournament and what we expected to be honest. Surprised England are as high as 4th in the table, aren't you?
I'd go as far as saying that both those tries were gifted. I'll say this about Eggland, they're grifters and plucky during these very worrying and "trying" times for them.
England, Ireland, Wales have all shown over the years a winning mentality. A refusal to be beaten, with big plays produced at the death.
Scotland have never shown that consistently in the entire history of the Six Nations.
It's fine margins,l but until they start winning games regularly, there will always be questions.
Scotland second from bottom in the table as per usual - Standard.

Scotland have not competed for the 6n title in over 20 years! Thats 10 wins for Ireland out of 11 of the last meetings, the Scotland outfit have no backbone, spineless & overrated.
This is a bit rich from an Irish fan whose side have never once made the ?WC semis. And regularly disappoint in the 6 nations.

Can a qualified ref complain about another "qualified" refs total incompetency and total misunderstanding of the very basics of the game?
It's nothing to do with grounding!

It was a very poor performance but when you have your FH and two locks injured, your bench 9 playing in the pack, your 15 playing 10, your wing playing FB and playing abysmal throughout....but still it took a late pen for the Irish to win by 3 pts.
Then can you imagine what could have happened if we didn't have key injuries and we only played half decent
