Many slam the UK on the other article about Brexit trade.

The fact is that the EU are now actively looking to block and tarnish UK trade.

The best thing the UK can do is to support its own manufacturers, buy British where possible and to focus on innovation and creating the best products.

Truth and hard work will prevail in the end.

More Brexit Bull****t from never neverland...........?
Oddly many people who voted for Brexit also pollute HYS making weak excuses for the fact that the UK has both the highest Covid death toll per capita of any major nation on earth as well as the worst performing economy of any major nation worldwide

We certainly do live in odd times!!!

The EU are not looking to block trade they wanted duty free access to the UK and got it. The EU did not want the UK to leave due to the harm it would do to trade. Trade pays all bills more of it the better. the EU budget is based on it.

Truth is manufacturing left this country many years ago we have not been able to feed ourselves for at least 150 years or so. The truth is we have committed a massive case of self harm that will probably take 20 years at best to resolve

The "deal" does have a exit/suspend clause something like "consequences of Brexit materially increase the costs of it performing its obligations under this Agreement and/or reduces its income under this Agreement and/or otherwise adversely affects the benefit it derives from this Agreement" giving the EU 45 days notice (works both ways). Just go WTO and exit the deal if it is deemed unworkable!

Lovely sentiments - totally out of step with reality and hopeless in the face of this dishonest, populist government who couldn't manage a pee up in a beer factory even if they wanted to and claim to have 'got something done' which is turning into the predicted disaster. As the man himself said: "F**k Business! Our vaccination prog. is being managed by competent people DESPITE Johnson and Co.

A year since the PM told us all to wash our hands and keep socially distant and keep social contact to a minimum.

A journalist then asked: 'Will you be seeing your mother on Mother's Day Prime Minsiter?'

'Of course!' he replied

The competence to lead the Govt through a pandemic was clear to see very early on. If only he'd attended the COBRA meetings in the weeks before...

Israel will answer the vaccine issue once and for all in about 8 weeks time

We can see from the results coming out of Brazil not only are they getting re infected
a second time but also a third and forth time now .

only time will tell now

the only thing for sure is if you don't have a vaccine you have a 0.5% chance of dying
same chance as taking the vaccine

I simply don’t get it - there are countries in this world who believe unquestioningly the slightest scare story without any shred of evidence.

But then again, there are countries in this world that believe unquestioningly every word that comes out of “Princess” Meghan’s mouth ...

It's who tells the lie first that often gets believed.
It's nice to see the BBC allowing me to access some news from other parts of the world. Just had a BBC pop up informing me that they are showing me more articles from England. I do like to look outside of my 'home' bubble so that I am better informed. It is part of a healthy inquiring mind. I am not a narrow minded nationalist and find such censorship abhorrent! Removed
Can’t believe I had a comment removed because I likened belief in the unsubstantiated claims about vaccine side-effects with belief in unsubstantiated claims by California-based actresses!!!

It seems the BBC has very much taken sides in the woke wars.

Check out the UK government's yellow card warnings for these vaccines -
3 to 6 serious incidents per 1000 doses.
Now check out the IFR of CV19:
1 in 1000
I think I'll take my chances with the virus thanks - much better odds.

The EMA says use should continue as do most EU member states. It is just some individual nation's regulators including some not in the EU who have suspended all use of the AZ vaccine or in some cases use of AZ vaccine from the same batch.
12/03/2021 23:19:29 0 1
bbc
The EU hasn't suspended anything, and Brussels has nothing to do with this all.

All that has happened is that some countries, such as Italy, have applied to the AZ vaccine the same regulations that they apply to any medication. If there is an incident, the affected batch (read: a batch of the AZ vaccine, not all AZ vaccine) is temporarily halted until they look into it.
All this fake news and discredit of the AZ vaccine was started by Moron in his death throes in France. Removed

A lot of Britons have this weird idea that other countries even see the AstraZeneca vaccine as British.
AZ is an EU company with its headquarters in Stockholm and two-thirds of its manufacturing done in other EU countries.
Doubts and criticisms may or may not be justified but are not some anti-British campaign.

22 people out of 3 million old people vaccinated have had serious blood clots during the last couple of months. What is the probability in this time frame of any of these 3 million having a blood clot? How many thrombotic strokes, pulmonary embolisms or heart attacks would be normal? 22 seems very low indeed

Thousands WILL now die needlessly of Covid whilst governments err on the side of caution
