There's no point in doing any exercises like that when the Cons simply ignore the findings, remember Exercise Cygnus that the Cons shamefully ignored in October 2016.

How many tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths did that cause?

The murderers should be taken to court.

Same can be said for tory party members as well remember brexit will be great its oven ready lets have our cake and eat it.£350 million spent on the NHS instead of giving it to the EU taking back control of our borders the list never ends.

But, it was the Tories that ignored the recommendations of the panel they set up specifically to plan for this kind of thing. You couldn't possibly condemn them for being incompetent though, could you?

Tory reality deniers on here

The travel to work on a bus that brakes down every day

Labour say we will service the bus every week it will be better

Tory reality deniers that's why they haven't any buses

Bus brakes down kills 20 passengers

Labour say they will service the bus make sure the drivers are well trained

Tory reality deniers

Look at Labour trying to be clever AFTER the event

The Tory government - specifically Hunt - ignored the last such exercise and cancelled the ones planned after it.

Why waste money on keeping the plebs alive, they'll only want to claim their pensions - and that money has already been spent long ago by the banks on ...er... themselves!

Oh yes - and a small percentage on Tory Party donations, naturally

Trebles all round!

Being prepared for a pandemic is not "lefty". It's common sense. Failure to do so results in 150K deaths. As we've seen.

Corbyn wanted to roll out broadband to every house in the UK as part of his plan, now that would have been a real boon over the last year.
He also wanted a regional development bank, again would have been handy for rebuilding the economy post Covid.
He wanted to properly fund the NHS, yep sounds good now as well.

But you preferred Boris the liar, Priti Patel, Dominic Raab, and a failed banker...

After 12 months historically labour should be 13-15 points ahead, but your not, are you,
Due to Starmer and his front bench
Credit where it's due, Corbyn's hate for the Jewish people is also having an effect.

All-in-all, not a single reason to vote Labour right now.

In a speech to the IPPR think tank, Mr Ashworth said ministers had been "unprepared, complacent and inept" when dealing with the Covid crisis.

Meanwhile "almost half" the data sent to the World Health Organization to map the evolution of the coronavirus had come from the UK.
Tory HQ rewriting their inept handling of the crisis, it's like living in Nazi Germany! Removed

Citation not required. I already understand. ;-)

Those that can.. Do.

You couldn't afford the consulting fee and incidentals. :-)

Do the research yourself.. And not cut and paste.

Meanwhile. I will await and see how effective the National Institute for Health Protection supercharge strategy will perform as more details are published.

How can you prepare for a threat if you don't know what the threat will be exactly?

How about global warming games? Flash flood games? Heatwave games? Cold winter games? We could make it into a Olympic game and be good at it!

Captain hindsight does it again!
