There is no 'gold standard' for PCR, you just run it as you see fit, or until you get the false positive that you're looking for.

To avoid creating a new blip in the figures and causing more overkill (pun intended) lockdowns, train your children to wave the swab generally inside the mouth/nose instead of meticulously, which will allow the government tickbox target to be reached and life to continue with minimal risk. Removed
please read

and ask yourself why you allowed yourself to believe anything Johnson says.

Considering the average age of someone dying with Covid is 82, with the majority of the 60+s now vaccinated, who cares any more? No need to be scared any more.

It's no longer a risk to the risk groups, let the kids (and everyone else for that matter) have their freedom back.

I can see a two tier work system developing. In the top tier will be workers who are ambitious, hard working & enterprising. They will be found in the office collaborating with their co workers and creating business opportunities for their employer. In the lower tier you will find people who are either too nervous to come into the office or are work shy & wish to avoid scrutiny. Removed

Love seeing all the comments that people are saying there will be an increase in cases due to schools going back and that we will be lockdown again. Some people need a backbone. We can’t hide from covid forever we need to get back to normal or are there people out there that are enjoying hiding behind there sofas.
If you're looking for a backbone, try the cemeteries, there are over 100 000 fresh ones, while you're there look for a brain also! Removed

Where's the Brexit dividend?Oh Sorry, it's a major deficit not dividend! People were lied to by that Vote Leave bus! The terrible Brexit Deal that Boris Johnsonov has delivered has put up major barriers to trade/prosperity & is making our country considerably poorer every day! There's no £350 million extra per week for the NHS!People were sadly conned by the lying Vote Leave politicians/campaign!

Why not? Hancock gives money to his mate, money is wasted left right and centre on commissions for several ‘intermediaries’ who’ve had their grubby fingers in the govt pie for way too long now. Where’s our money?

In his Covid address this afternoon PM made reference to International Women's Day.

I have subsequently had multiple posts taken down by the "moderators" for asking why there is apparently no International Men's Day for EQUALITY PURPOSES.

Presumably then the BBC only recognises equality when it is in fact not equal.

The pressure from the schools for parents and students to give consent is unacceptable. They are making testing mandatory by saying if you don’t consent you can not attend school. 16 year old kids are emailed and called everyday and bullied into giving consent.
A private contractor who gets to produce lateral flow tests is making hundreds of millions whilst nurses are offered 1%
Yup. Scandal. Offer the nurses 25% & don't pay the contractors selected by Government without scrutiny or accountability. Removed

It turns out that Greenhill (financial backers of a large slice of the UK steel industry), which has gone into administration, has David Cameron as one of its paid advisers . . . the BBC is awaiting his comments.

Why does the BBC not open a HYS on Meghan's interview? From the BBC reporting, it seems this organisation cites with H&M as in Harry & Meghan and is against HM (Her Majesty). Expected from an organisation which puts Brussels ahead of Britain. Scrap the BBC licence fee now. Removed
