Lord Frost says the EU has "significantly undermined" post-Brexit arrangements for Northern Ireland.

The UK's plan A was to accept the report of the EU's own expert, Lars Karlson, and an electronic border be installed between NI and ROI.

The EU rejected the report of their own expert and insisted on the NI protocol, any problems from here are down to this decision.
Sorry, but I'm sure you then meant to say: ", and then Borris & Co signed the deal and Parliament passed it".

This mess is entirely of the UK's making - don't blame the EU for the fat one's inability to read a document before he signs it!

The only Irish border solution is for the ÈU to remove Eire from their single market, to effectively impose a border between Eire and the rest of the ÈU.
The BBC are serially deleting the truth (that brexit was stupid error done by stupid ignorant people - who just lie time after time after time. Wake up - you were conned - (remember the Red Bus LIE.)

As we all well know Boris inherited what May and a Parliament unrepresentative of the wishes of a majority in the UK wanted - to saddled him with the NI/GFA problem.

It is the EU/RoI that have exploited the interests of one side of the GFA to force Boris to agree a protocol that was only going to work with goodwill on all sides - something the EU are not going to give without a confrontation.

BedlingtonBoy 11:32 - It was EU membership that stopped us pouring sewage directly into our sea. Frost knew that our seas didn't meet EU spec and knew that our shellfish had to be 'purified' before landing in any EU port. He now seems surprised. The only conclusion is either that he is thicker than fishermen or he knew but didn't care. Our fishermen knew. We are being treated as a 3rd country.

" Frost knew that our seas didn't meet EU spec and knew that our shellfish had to be 'purified' before landing in any EU port."

Part of the problem is with the infrequency of UK testing the sea waters compared with EU. Some areas have temporary problems with heavy rain and farm slurry running off. More regular testing will iron that out in as they do in the EU.

No.

But votes with different weightings does bug me , as in the FPTP system versus a more PR friendly system.

So tell me why you support different votes having different weights ....
