This is all very interesting, but I would like to know Megan Markle's view so that I have a properly unbiased opinion to consider.

Sorry BBC, but every news article on your website is more important and far more interesting than what Meagain and Harry are moaning on about, no one cares. I’m sure I am not the only one to find them sickening. Please get rid. Thanks.

If you want some entertainment, read the comments under articles about them on the Daily Mail site. Hilarious. Doubt she will ever set foot i the UK again. With all that is going on in the world, she is of zero significance, should be a news blackout on her.
When the chancellor’s own wife has been caught out for tax evasion and making millions in the process, you know there’s no hope for the normal person.

Those with less cannot afford to pay as much, even as a proportion of their income. The vast majority of a low earner's income is spent on essentials, and many could not survive a tax increase, whereas one wealthy person I know would just have to cancel their yoga lessons or their kids private horse riding lessons to support a 5% higher rate tax rise.
And after all the hoo-haa of yesterday - not one story on the front-page about the "horrid scotch person" Nicola Sturgeon.
Maybe because she absolutely wiped the floor with them all - and strengthened the Scottish resolve even further!
8 hours under cross examination - Boris/Hancock/Patel couldn't handle 8 seconds of scrutiny.
english peeps - ever get the feeling you've been had?

Wise words indeed - you can see the types who are losers in life by the way they constantly focus on the barriers rather than the opportunities. There's a reason why many millions have and still want to come to the UK, it's a land of opportunity if you want to make something of yourself.
Cladding and Fire Safety issues. That's what needs resolving, for ALL Leaseholders not just those who own in buildings over 18m. The Housing Market is actually currently crippled.

As for tax, we obviously require a wealth tax. Since 2010 the national debt has soared out of control. Brexit will only impoverish the Exchequer further. Public finances have already been cut to the bone. A wealth tax is the only credible option.

I won't notice a £200 drop in net income, but I'd really feel a £5000 drop. Does that make me poor or rich. Actually, I'm in the middle, like most of the population.
P.S Lewis Hamilton won't notice it cos I don't think he pays UK tax any more.

What has Lewis Hamilton got to do with the budget, you moron. But if you want to bring him up, he pays more tax in this country than you would in 100 life times, without actually living here. He also pays it in several other countries that he earns money in. But don't let facts get in the way of your prejudice hey.

The poor will pay up. Not that I have much sympathy with them, they keep falling for the same trick. Instead of responding with blood and fire they respond with huge votes for the tricksters. Too old to believe that will ever change now sadly. We are a nation of dim-wits who have learned to fear the dole as much their forefathers feared the workhouse. Thatcher will be dancing with Satan tonight.

Presumably the latest £340000 that has been spent paying off the official bullied by Priti Patel will come out of Johnson's own pocket
After all it wouldn't be fair to put up taxes to pay for keeping ministers in a job that broke the ministerial code now would it?
Or for all the other bungling and bungs
Sunak says the wealthy must shoulder the biggest burden (they're not)
Perhaps he could pay? Removed

How can we trust Sunak’s judgment of what is fair or not, when he defends and profits from this behaviour? Removed

Not helped ,of course, by the £340000+ of taxpayers' money that the Government has paid to an official bullied out of his job by Ms Patel. Quite how she keeps her job in Government is difficult to fathom, especially as this settlement effectively confirms that she is guilty. A thoroughly odious individual who should be made to pay the money herself.
Removed
Perhaps the Government could introduce a retrospective bullying tax on government ministers of up to £340k per case paid out? A Fibbing through your back teeth tax should also be particularly lucrative, as would a Mind-numbing level of incompetence tax and a Giving jobs to my chums tax.

The best way to help the poor is to put a limit in private rents equal to council rents, To many private landlords shovelling costs onto people least able to afford it with a ticket tout business model based on something for nothing profiteering. Perhaps time for tenants to bite back hard. Not all landlords are greedy but still piling on costs to what is everybody's right to affordable housing.
Supply and demand. They could close the borders if they really wanted to. The low IQ boat people are getting picked up in the channel daily. You have to pay, with your taxes to put them up in 3/4 star hotels whilst our people are homeless. You are a 2nd class citizen in your ancestral homeland now goy! (( rubs hands ))

I see projections indicate that the national debt will be 2.8 trillion by 2026.
That means that the Tories will have trebled the national debt in 16 years.
And some people think the Tories are economically sound.

Fair? Sunak? Or Starmer? The 'cheating of nurses' is in continued atomisation. With the discovery in 2017 that old Tory lies were 'not enough' against a Labour of decency, and with Brexit tax-haven saving set only to lose further ground, the worst of Tories turned to worst of smearing against Corbyn and Labour and the EU, dragooning captive Jewry (the 'mainstream') into bearing false-witness.
