Shall we all just take a moment to bask in the knowledge that Shamima is never, never, never, never, never going to step foot back in the UK with her poisonous ideology and history behind her.

But her kids might - after they’ve been radicalised in the camp. I think it would make sense to help them escape the poisonous ideology that may bring bloodshed to our shores in the future.

Normally when 15 year old children are groomed and manipulated into doing something that's bad for them we treat them as victims and go after the groomers. What's the difference here? That Britain, alledgedly a global player, 6th biggest economy in the world, with an army that claims to be world class can't even clean this mess up itself, but seeks to foist the problem on Bangladesh, is pathetic.

I think he does. The main reason anyone has a vaccination is to stop themselves becoming ill. Once you've had it, you shouldn't be too worried if you're near someone with the illness.
Of course it has, or his government, it's the team put in place to make the early procurement f everything form backing the vaccine research, the buying of needles etc combined with the subsequent logistics from the army and NHS - it's a combination of everything
The latter is a politically motivated lie
given enough years, the citizens of europe will be able to see a link between decreasing contagion and vaccination....with luck(and when pigs fly and remoaners shut up) the greedy self serving despots of brussels will stop power mongering and do their jobs properly.
If you have to sign to consent people to give you a so called vaccine, surely this alone should ring alarm bells... This vaccine is rushed and people around the world are dying from this so called vaccine.
Feel free to take it, but make sure you at least take out life insurance first. As funeral costs for family members are not fair at all.

Dear BBC Visitor
Further to your complaint about some of the content on a BBC website (reference number P41512994), we have decided that it does not contravene the House Rules and are going to leave it on site.
i found "but spare a thought for the 120k+ deaths" offensive the beeb didn't. OK aunty your the boss. Removed

The ONS put it above 140K by counting the "Cause of Deaths" signed off as Covid DRs on the Death Certs (in the early days they did not have test capacity to confirm).
Good news. Infections are low; 19 million people have a high level of protection. Time to start lifting the restrictions starting with schools in March, hospitality and shops in April and all borders by May.
We must get to an acceptable level of infection/deaths that society will tolerate. 100 or so deaths through the winter (15,000 a year like flu) seems acceptable.

It doesn't matter what anyone does, this lockdown will never end. Feel free to stick to the rules if you want but it'll do no good.
This is all very well saving lives now BUT REMEMBER the more lives we save now the greater the risk of death from the effects of climate change, lack of sufficient fresh water, sea level rises giving less space to grow food. REMEMBER the effect of over population and over exploitation of resources on Easter Island. Get your vaccine but think of your grandchildren and the world they will inherit
Well after this gets sorted we've got a recession to look forward to thanks to the brexit muppets.

Why don't people like you just stop moaning for once? Yes, we know you delight in being miserable and spreading your negativity to others. You envy the successful who have a positive minde set and generate prosperity for themselves and others. And we know you want to reduce eveything and everyone down to the lowest common denominator. But others want get on with their lives.
You are probably correct with the forecast for the economy.
Except that unemployment will be higher not lower.
All this will happen, whether or not UK stayed in EU.
Covid has ruined the world economy, plus we are at the end of a major economic cycle, Central Banks printing trillions of new money will not stop whats in store for us all.

... No surprise to see the BBC carefully policing the news from the Scottish parliament. No comments allowed.

Wonder why the bbc's Chair, Richard Sharp, conservative, friend of Johnson and chancellor Rishi Sunak, has donated over £400,000 to the conservative party . . ??
It explains the usual lack of questioning.
Maybe conservative Tim Davie knows ? As Director-General of the bbc he should. Removed
