Southampton on a Downer? Hope it's down, the way they play they deserve to be relegated. They offer nothing to the Premier League. I'm not a fan of Fulham, but would love to see them stay up at the expense of Southampton, or maybe Newcastle as they are another waste of space in this league.

What a magnificent and thrilling game of football! Southampton were a tad unlucky but let's not take away the incredible efforts from Everton. Due to this result, I've had to make a few changes to my predictions for this seasons grand finale, and here they are:

1st Everton
2nd Man City
3rd Norwich
4th Leicester City

And in relegation:

17th Cardiff
18th West Brom
19th Liverpool
20th Man Utd

West Ham are a famous club, due largely to their England World Cup winning connections, and it's great to see them doing well playing good football under Moyes, but they're not comparable to Everton - one of the most famous clubs out there and a return to some level of success under Ancelotti would be great for neutrals

I've lived in Southampton for over 20 years and am a Saints fan, although wasn't born here. It's a combination of injuries and lack of investment from the owner. I honestly would rather be in the lower leagues with Markus Liebherr as the owner as he took so much more of an interest in the club.

Everton seem to be doing well.
Hope Armstrong is doing well for Southampton.

Don't you watch them play? He's their worst player by a mile. Hopefully he'll miss out for Scotland this summer.

Armstrong is the only player in the team that goes forward from midfield with the ball at his feet. After a decent run into their defence last night he laid a sitter on a plate for Djenepo to miss the target. As for Redmond - awful player.

Back to the 80s? Two league titles, an FA Cup and the Cusp Winners Cup. I'll settle for that again.

An absolute bore fest. Two shots on target. One from each. They should be fined points for putting g us through this trash. As as other matches over weekend.

That was not a good game for the neutral.
I think that could should have been a draw really.
I was expecting much better service to the DCL than that - Everton never really looked much of a threat.
Ward-Prowse looked dangerous from set peices - nobody getting on the end of them

Why should it have been a draw, we scored, they didn’t

Who cares what type of game it was for the neutrals

DCL wins ball twice in the air, Siggy great ball, Richarlison great finish.

We scored, we won, end of
