I am sure he will be very nice.. as he would about all his opponents.
He certainly ain’t the guy who would say ‘I’m miles better”, even though he very clearly was.
Carter won some games for AB on the back foot, JW was in an armchair for most of his career.

Now come on fat boy... no need to be so rude.

Although I love football as much as I love rugby, I have to be honest and say that the behaviour of some footballers is an embarrassment compared to the majority of rugby players. Dan Carter and Johnny Wilkinson were and are perfect examples to young kids on how to behave on and off the pitch.
My wife and I met him once in London, and he was the most low-key superstar you can imagine, no hint of expecting people to even know who he was, came over to us and introduced himself, “hi, my name’s Dan”. Just a really nice likeable bloke, no swagger or ego.
Yeah, thanks Dave. I've played enough to recognize a petulant ref baiter and an out and whiner on the pitch. With all due respect to the players cited, Biggar would be more at home in soccer. AWJ would be more at home sat between Waldorf and Statler on the Muppet Show.

Off topic for Carter article but just want to say been several red cards this weekend and it's good to see the coaches of those teams fronting up and accepting them. Unlike say football managers who either didn't see incident(right), or blames opposition/ref/VAR/anyone else but their player for a foul.
Rugby not perfect but it's encouraging to see some values still upheld. Removed
