I'm hoping that the government take a look at aiding the health workers with the ability to prescribe Ivermectin at the correct dosage based on several positive studies across the world. It is also advocated in the BMJ. Best thing is, it's effective and cheaper than Remdesivir. $2 (£1.50) a tablet compared to £350 a day for Remdesivir and more effective.

That's great but herd immunity from vaccination will not be achieved without mass take-up of the vaccine.

Refusing the vaccine is not to exercise individual choice, it is damaging to the population as a whole.

England is a strong nation (the strongest per haps!). Let’s pull back the collective prepuce and show our courage. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger - i.e. keep calm and carry on! If someone coughs, take the opportunity to breath in their cough. Herd immunity is the way forward. Be strong not fearful. B ritain, B est, B strong!????

Because they are not white - and too many of them blame white people for all their self inflicted problems.

That is pure racism.

So do things only exist if you, or your friends, see them? Perhaps you can club together with your friends to buy an electron microscope so that you can see the SARS-CoV-2 virus for yourself.

Our NHS is protecting the most vulnerable in society like ...

... the BAME and MGBGT community.

I feel so much better for that.

Got to protect 'minorities' my friend.

I seem to be in a minority - but I think that the government is doing and absolutely first class job at controlling the virus. I am a bin man, by profession, and so have been on the front line in battling this crisis for the past year - and my honest assessment is that Boris Johnson and his team have done a super job. Well done, chaps.

In WW2 my uncle spent most of it battling through North Africa, helping to save civilisation from the horrors of Nazism. Like so many others he did not see his children until they were 3 or 4 years old. His wife would be overjoyed when she got a letter. My other aunt & uncle spent the war wondering if a V2 was going to fall on the house. Please don't complain about lockdown & your hurt feelings!
Zzzzzzzzzzz, war reference.

Once vulnerable have been vaccinated 'cases' are irrelevent; in fact the more the merrier as it builds 'herd immunity'. Also important to remember statistics can be very misleading due to false positive tests being mislabelled as cases, hospital admissions and deaths not actually due to covid.
It builds mutations, not immunity.
Only a mo ron could fail to see that.

It is a SEASONAL bug. All coronaviruses are seasonal. It will end here, then begin again in the southern hemisphere. Nothing to do with the vaccines, nothing to do with lockdowns. People seem unable to count. Just look at the curves, here, Sweden, Florida, California. Everywhere, the death curves are the same.
Tell that to all the southern hemisphere nations currently suffering a surge in cases you mo ron. Removed

Right then Boris, you said you were going to act on data, well it's coming at you from all angles and it's nearly all positive and it seems to be global.

So open up and save the economy before SAGE unearth the Andromeda mutation.

Lockdown zealots on furlough get a bonus downvote as you'll be back at work soon if you still have a job.
Open up & kill another 40,000 more likely.

Stop being dim.

Stolen by Tory incompetence and next they will want me to pay for it in taxes !
Hopefully they'll charge socialists double.
Not that most of them are in employment in order to actually pay any tax...
