Saw the interview with Steve Baker MP on BBC news, he was making a lot of sense, even with a hostile Vic Derbyshire shouting over him at times. Logically once those vulnerable cohorts are done meaning almost all deaths and hospitalisations are being avoided, then we should relax the restrictions, we have been told we will have to live with the virus for decades, we can’t hide away for decades.
I'm listening to doctors, Scientists and those working in the NHS - not a moron like Steve Baker. Removed

Then you will also know that many scientists and not the crackpot ones are saying much the same as Steve Baker. I have had covid, it’s nasty but I also have seen the cost in terms of mental health, routine health care and jobs. The whole point of lockdown was to save the vulnerable, once that is done then the premise of lockdown is gone. We will not eradicate covid, that’s the science.

When virus is stamped out, pupils catch up by schools open until 6 every day, weekend learning, cut summer holiday to 2 weeks. If teachers don't like it replace them with unemployed retail and services personnel. Sorted!

Nicola left floundering with her travel quarantine plan which imposes lockdown on all incomers regardless of red listing. Whether right or wrong, by taking a separate approach (as is her way of course) she now cannot police her dictat unless by enforcement of border checks ...or convincing others to adopt her policy. How will that play out I wonder.

Coronavirus: Plan to exit lockdown 'cautious but irreversible'

So, I am cautiously approaching a decision, regarding the lives of thousands I may inadvertently kill.

So, as I embark on this potential killing spree, when tens of thousands are dying again, can someone remind me i said it was irreversible.

Only I need a holiday im Mustique again.

They try to stop devolved parliament in it's tracks. They deliberately try to make it look like a farce, by not using the many powers given to them. The monster raving loony party could have done a better job than these charlatans

WM needs to step in, with one fell swoop, give Holyrood full autonomy, stopping these bigoted blaggards in their tracks, no need for independence(inside the eu?) LIARS!
In Scotland the snp make the situation worse by stealing WM funds, to pay for indy vote sweeteners. WM funding earmarked for Scottish NHS, and health care/services for the vulnerable.

These charlatans would rather give handouts to the rich in "free" prescriptions and higher education, but they don't do this to enhance Scotland ( because it certainly doesn't) The agenda is selfish snp indy votes.

There's £millions stockpiled from WM, this was supposed to help lockdown and other covid related needs, for the poor. Hardly any of this has been used, they do NOT want to acknowledge a WM handout, or any thanks for that.

As usual this money will be spent on the bigoted snp independence agenda, indy vote catching LIES, the money came from WM, and it wasn't for snp to squander on whimsical folly.
A little fact for you mugs to ponder. The snp are stealing from the poor, which will mostly filter through to the rich, they're 10X worse than the Tories ever were.

Meanwhile they lavish themselves in luxuries, spend £billions on Holyrood, while at the same time bailing themselves out from the WM coffers, even their bog standard MP's are extracting over £200,000 each in salaries and expenses.

Neglected by all parties to-date, measures against Covid-19 (as against the threat of imminent climate-catastrophe) should include the enablement of free-speech in due expression of conscience, essentially with commendation and institution of freedom from material tyranny.
