Sorry to say, but Newcastle are going down, Steve Bruce clearly out of his depth (Championship manager at best) and wouldn't be surprised if he is sacked very soon with Graeme Jones taking temporary charge. Was hoping for at least a draw to keep us second, though that was clearly wishful thinking! Man U, bit average.

Maguire shouldn't be captain. What's the point of barking orders to everyone on the pitch when you can't perform in your own role? What kind of example is that setting and how embarrassing is that?

De Gea in goal and Maguire in defence and both earning more than most of the 1st team is demoralising and the fact they are guaranteed 1st team places despite leaking goals is maddening

Lindelof? Why?

Baffling beyond belief how he is captain or even playing..
He can head a ball. He can pass a ball 10-20 yards. That’s it.
He’s so slow. Quick players leave him standing.
Respect Ollie but he’s making a huge boo boo by having him in our team.

Totally agree, Maguire and Lindelof are championship at best, a half fit Bailly is better than both, I think it's only the price tag to save face that gets Maguire a game, surely a couple of younger players are better than these two clowns.
22/02/2021 08:48:36 4 1
bbc
Embarrassing if you're actually a United fan. Maguire has his faults but he's our best defender and since he came in last season we have looked a much better team. Due to his price tag he will always get stick, but I don't get why he gets so much from Utd fans? When Bailly plays we look solid so surely that points to Lindelof being the weak link?

I met SAF at a United fan club meeting way back, when Giggsy was just starting to make an impact. I asked SAF about what I considered to be Giggs' poor corner taking capability. He didn't like this, but replied that Giggs was a great talent in the making and that for now, United fans should be happy with what he can offer. This satisfied the others there, but it might equally apply to Rashford.

I’m sorry but it has to continue - just look at Tuchel , comes in and immediately drops Mendy, Hudson-Odoi, Rudiger, Tammy, Kante and Zouma. Only racism can explain that. There’s a reason Sol Campbell never made England captain and John Barnes was sacked from Celtic so soon... but then again, you probably don’t think any of that is racist! Open your eyes
