Ralph Hasenhuttl hopes Southampton's 1-1 draw with Chelsea is the start of his side returning to their normal selves as they ended a run of six successive defeats in the Premier League.

Well played Southampton.

Atletico Madrid must be licking their lips at the prospect of taking apart this mismatch of expensive misfits.
Chavski should have had seen Red Cards on TWO separate occasions.??

30 minutes each half ball in play, no point in taking ages over everything then. If the keeper is holding the ball not classed as ball in play until he kicks it or places it on the ground.

Maybe adapt Futsal rules - if the ball goes out of play, the clock stops. This rule could potentially be extended to time only restarting once a throw-in has been taken, or a goalie has actually kicked/passed a goal kick.

Given refs now link with VAR, they could have a "time off" signal to stop the scene of players rolling around for 10 minutes yet only 4-5 mins of injury time ever gets played.

The biggest priority should be clamping down on diving, get to grips with the handball rule and tweak the ridiculous offside measuring they use with VAR, too many well worked goals being ruled out for a sleeve or a nostril.
