Would any one of the idiots who voted for Brexit please, please, please tell me something good about this fiasco ?

The vaccine rollout ...
It’s that pompous intellectual superiority that caused this, you are simply not better you just have a different view, Which I respect, but do not agree with.
So everyone who doesn't see it your way is an idiot! This is the issue with cancel culture 2021. We live in a democracy, sometimes, you will get what you want and sometimes you don't. The answer to your woes is not to call people stupid but to get out and persuade people you are right through reasoned argument. Start or join a movement to re-join the EU and then put it back to the people.
I agree with Mr Gove, this should be put in context. The context being that every single thing this inept, corrupt government touches gets fouled up. Why single out Brexit?
Removed
I think the hauliers have a more hands-on context than Govey and his departments. "We don't recognise these figures" indeed! Alternative facts, Govey?
Couldn't agree more, but Michael Gove, like it or not is still there. Ducking and diving, coughing and spluttering and never a sensible word not even in jest. Where did they find him. Plus the fact that since he's dropped his canny wee scottish accent, he's become a pompous english public schoolboy. I just wish he'd go back to wearing short pants. What will be his next manifestation
Some people want to complain about everything. Why single out Brexit?
Yes, if only we had voted in Corbyn. We could have had Diane Abbott handling these talks. We really missed out there.
And captain hindsight is as straight as a Nevada road, isn’t he.
Old Smegal Gove, A Harry Enfield parody of a loathsome politician in the flesh. A minister of "fill in latest position here" master of none. Brexit..my preciouses.
Sadly thats the whole point you reaminers and the lib dems couldnt grasp. We DONT want free movement of eastern Europeans, we DONT want faceless euro jobsworths making rules for us and if it costs us a little bit more it is a price WORTH paying. Brexit never was and never will be just about trade. If you don't like it FO somewhere else

The UK vaccine rollout had nothing to do with brexit. This article is about brexit.

"no the eu were responsible for refusing any of his suggestions. If they had given a little then I can guarantee that we would have stayed in"
Why would the EU give the UK unfair advantages over other member states? We already HAD a Thatcher rebate, and kept on moaning for more.
All this brexit mess serves us right. And we're still in the grace period... real fun starting soon!

Oh, that's all right then!
Get Brexit undone.
Not if it was meant!
Why exactly is that pathetic?it's proving to be the disastrous mess everyone with common sense predicted, only a fool would continue to pursue a bad idea once it's proven to be so. While brexiteers bury their heads in the sand the next stop in the brexit dividend is the break up of the UK & another decade of our lives wasted negotiating the mess that will create - & all because of Tory infighting
Wonder if the mental gymnastics your brain goes through to shift "Project Fear" to "yea we knew that would happen" counts as your 1 hr exercise each day
Don't panic. We've got at least a decade left, even if we're lucky, before we start to shuffle, shamed faced back in, and even then it'll be baby steps.
Silliest mid-life crisis ever, and that's up against some stiff competition.

It'll happen eventually. The world's becoming more integrated is inevitable.

Not at all - and the votes confirm. Latest survey puts support for Brexit at 25%. Pity the 52% didn't listen to the experts.
I think the pathetic ones are your red faced mob. Screwed the country right over.
Someone’s touchy - hit a nerve has it?
Bit like with supporters of Trump, Brexiters rhetoric is falling away and all we see is the stark realities of leaving the worlds largest trading block 21 miles off the Kent coast

Oh dear, having a sense of humour failure today?
Losers tend to want things on a plate..very sad.
Not as pathetic as the mayhem that is unfolding
How about 'Kick the Leavers out of the country'? I certainly have no desire whatsoever to share the county with bigots and xenophobes. - and yes, that does mean *every single person* who voted to leave. We don't need you, just get lost.
"Lol what a pathetic thing to say"
You should be more worried about the reaction to your comment.
Brexit is losing support, yes it isn't as bad as the worst excesses of the remain side claimed but there are no benefits for people who aren't avoiding tax by using the UK's multiple dependencies.
That's a very small percentage of the voting population.
If there are no advantages we will rejoin.

yes, laugh. next perhaps you might loose your job (if you have one). see if you still laugh then. nice way to make britain great again. duped by a bloke from a pub and a few bigots.
This is being repeated at (hundreds of?) thousands of companies all across the UK. Jobs and investment going abroad. There must be a huge list of benefits somewhere? Possibly on the back of the Russian Interference Report? Anyone seen that?
Worked for 3 of the worlds largest IT companies – services & hardware. The business system all 3 used was SAP & we had to structure 2 different models for operation within Europe, Middle East & Africa = EU & Non-EU supply chain. The regulatory, finance, legal, & customs requirements were very different EU vs Non-EU. This is not a case of mean old Johnny Foreigner spite. This is Brexit.
Why no HYS on the Barclay’s optimistic view on the finance sector opportunities from Leaving the EU. BBC scratching around for negative stories to keep the division going, it’s time to drop the Brexit tab on this website and move on.

You are not forced to pay for the BBC. You have the option of buying the licence necessary to legally receive broadcasts or not. The choice is yours.
what a coincidence Beeb open a comment section on brexit!!! none on Nicola Sturgeon

I'm quite content - there is a cost to pay for fascist supremacist english nationalist Brexit - we have to pay it - or we go somewhere very dark indeed. Brexiteers can be as stubborn as they like, it all depends how much they want us to suffer - whilst their Tory millionaire backers roll in the cash from foreign investments and hedge funds - they will be fine.

My stupid mother in laws mate forwarded a thing on Facebook saying that Poland had reduced it’s retirement age using our EU money. ‘That’s why I voted Brexit’ she snarled. If only it was true. Like us, Poland ALWAYS had sovereignty over retirement pension issues. But as with everything Brexiters spout, don’t let the truth get in the way of a dodgy story
Lol what a pathetic thing to say

Even Miss Marple would struggle to uncover the elusive benefits. I'm stumped and frankly I've given up. I am leaving this country this year... real fact. Maybe I'll return some day when sanity is restored. Good luck, dis-United Kingdom... soon to be England/possibly Wales. Sad... so sad, as your friend Trump would aptly put it. Enjoy your alternative facts folks.
The usual suspects on here again - why does the BBC never put the blame where it belongs? Oh no - it loves the crooks and liars in Brussels -and posting the same bunch of remoaner r*tards and their twisted logic?
It has always been made clear that there will be initial problems - so if you're all that fed up - SHIP OUT!!.

You clearly haven't read the article (or comments on HYS from business) - UK buisness is indeed "shipping out", just as you want, to the EU - and taking their jobs, taxes and contribution to the economy with them - quite the most cognitively-challenged and self-defeating rant on HYS
"I actually think it was not properly thought out" said Mr Cowgill. NO S**T SHERLOCK!! Only the swivel eyed red faced maniacs that managed to convince the innocents to vote for this ClusterF*** still think Brexit was a good idea. No benefits at all! None!!!

Reading through the comments it’s amazing just how many people in this country still want us to fail outside of Europe. We are only two months in.... it’s time to come together, unite, find a way to make it work and grow. The world is bigger than just Europe and in the world of modern technology and communication doing business with the rest of the world is easier than ever! Come on Britain!!
So the BBC didn't fact check their horror story about exports being down 68%. And that's the way it is with political organisations masquerading as honest news outlets. You're paying for a fact checking team them fact checks the things they are opposed to and turn a blind eye to anything that doesn't suit their political prejudicies.

They just cut and paste the press releases, so many tardy articles (on all subjects) now I can only assume they cut the editing team.
It was the so called biased BBC, ITV and Sky News a great deal of coverage of the Brexit/Remain campaigns in 1916.
How do you think so many people remember the red bus?
It is so easy to take pot shots at the messengers, but only the BBC has HYS for you to do so.

As opposed to Brexit supporting Next?
Don't think anybody was "championing the cause", merely pointing out the obvious, i.e. this is a long way from friction free trade. "Genocide supporting EU"?? Have you been following UK politics the last few days??
Really?....Rubin payed the UK treasury over £180 million in taxes 2017-18...
Lots of UK firms now having to open EU distribution centres. Getting common.
Great news for jobs (for the EU that is) Like all the finance moving too.
Funny how Mogg spoke of "50 years of pain" when moving assets to EIRE years ago.
Almost as if he knew Brexit was a pile of shite for the UK?

Strange - we don't seem to have heard recently from Jacob Rees-Mogg, Mark François or - who was the other chap? - ah yes, Nigel Farage. John Redwood is (I'm told) still slumbering next to Drake's Drum. I wonder why the long silence?
PS - FYI - I'm not desperate to hear from any one of them - ever.

I’m sure Farage will save the day this time. He always sticks it to the hun and stands up for British business and the common man. Maybe not for fishermen or the farmers, [people who vote UKIP in high numbers], but I’m sure he will this time.

Working at BT from 2009 was horrific-INSIDE THE EU-They invented Contractual Unpaid working time to displace overtime. They failed to record unpaid Contracted Working Time beyond 37.5 hrs. They then forced Contractual Overtime on top of the 50hr week they had not recorded-Inside the EU.The Cameron Govt tried to back them in Court and lost yet no action by 2020.They also asked staff to vote remain.
Project fear was Brexit Propaganda
EU army - no army, actually no joint military at all
Turkey joins the EU.. No it didn't and cant because it is now a religious cult country.
Germany runs the EU.. its rich but we had more power.
Immigration was the only fear that worked.
And that is how Brexiteers voted - ANTI IMMIGRATION.
All the other fake stuff just made it easy.

What isn't propaganda is "The Lost Continent" by Gavin Hewitt. If you have an open receptive mind, you can buy the e-reader version for 99p. If you can't afford that, search for it on Amazon and use the 'Look inside' facility and read the first 20 or so pages for free and then decide what is and isn't propaganda.
