Burnley take advantage of some woeful defending to brush aside a limp Crystal Palace and move further clear of the Premier League's bottom three.
why do you think that? not as if you're Manyoo or Millwall mate
What happened to players blocking shots...that 1st goal could've been stopped if a cp player has simply headed it.... instead he pulled out from a simple headed clearance.
No heart or desire

Burnley - Not important enough to be disliked. Sorry.
Great win today and played well.
Great win today and played well.
A good 3 points for Burnley which keeps them well above the relegation zone.
Without Zaha, Palace are absolute tat! The Palace windows got well and truly shattered today - and to Burnley as well! Won't go down though, not quite bad enough and too many points now amassed. Woy needs to put his thinking cap on
Great performance from Burnley
Solid and clinical
Palace seem out of sorts but all the credit to the Clarets
Hope Ben Mee recovers from a nasty one

Dear Mr Hodgson,
As someone with a financial interest in CPFC I would like to ask the following:-
What training did the team do after Monday’s Leeds fiasco? Was it too cold to do any, as the sight of 8 of them wearing gloves today would indicate?
Perhaps they were at home doing jigsaws all week, but I fear most of them wouldn’t know how to open the box.
Time to go I’m afraid.

You mean you threw a quid in the ground as you walked past. Or you bought a tacky palace top.
Haha, well said!
Perhaps this result will be a wakeup call to Parrish et al? But I won't hold my breath.
CPFC sleepwalking to relegation, if not this season then next..

When did wearing gloves in the cold indicate anything other than a desire for warm hands? Links to training or match performance are nonsense.
People bemoan Burnley’s style of play. But they add that extra dimension to the league and really sort the men from the boys. Similar to Stoke vs arsenal back in the day, the gunners struggled to adapt to the Stoke style of play so weren’t worthy of winning the league
Delighted with the points - but more hopeful Captain Ben Mee makes a full ans swift recovery - absolute key to the team.
Yep!

Absolute rubbish from palace, no pride in the shirt, no fight, second best to an average Burnley side who wanted the result a 100 times more than us. missing players wouldn’t have made any difference, team don’t look like they want to play for Hodgson anymore, looking more and more like relegation to me, only bottom 3 not wanting to win either will save us. Go now Hodgson.
Karma lol

Southampton supporter here. Nice to see Jack Cork back fit, and guess what you're winning again, Jack never seems to do much in a match but actually he does it all. Great player, Saints should never have sold him.
Would never wish a player a bad injury, but Ben Mee has caused a couple of players serious tackles with his wreckless tackles
Yes and 1 of your serious tackles wasn't even a foul.Let it drop and grow up.
Reckless tackles? It’s called football. Too many teams and fans want to turn football into a non tackling, fancy Dan tippy tippy type of game. Players like Mee keep the game honest
Gomez 2 seasons ago was one although I didnt see the incident. Wesley of Villa is still out after a sort of scissor chop from Mee over 13 months ago. He does have history like you say which is a shame as he's a decent player
Roy's a nice bloke and all but I think he should be thinking of putting his feet up in Torquay come end of the season.
Eddie Howe to take over ?
Eddie Howe to take over ?
I would prefer Sean Dyche. Knows how to manage with a limited budget and workman like players.
Roy will no doubt be fired in May and that will be the end of Palace in the top flight for a few years.
Burnley fan here and I can see dyche being at palace at end of season as much as it pains me to say!
Dont think any club would give Dyche the control he has at Burnley, over recruitment, training ground development and long term plans. Burnley and Dyche are a perfect fit.

Palace are lucky the bottom 5 are so poor this season, big re-building job in the summer
Palace were awful. Dreadful defending. No creativity. No threat up front.
Burnley better in every area, not least attitude, workrate and playing as a team.
Time for a clear out at Palace starting with the manager.

Palace were awful, but the Clarets played some great football and were well on top all game. Come on you Clarets
Quite agree hodgson should have gone last season after those 7 straight defeats in June & July
Most managers get the boot after 4or 5 straight losses.
Most managers get the boot after 4or 5 straight losses.
Burnley great today, but there are some good players in that Palace squad. I can’t believe they’ve all become donkeys overnight. Never been convinced by Hodgson personally.
Only one team wanted to win that game. No fight at all from half the palace players. Ashley Barnes would have finished the chance benteke and bats spurned. Will be interesting to see what palace look like next year. Leaders and fighters are needed
The team selected, no wingers and little chance of feeding the strikers, consigned Palace to defeat before the match even started. Very poor team selection by the manager and his assists.
Best clarets away performance of the season. Clean sheet, dominant win, defensively organised and pretty much confirmed another season in the league
Better than 1-0 at Anfield ?
Burnley battering CP 3-0 shows how bad the bottom half of the EPL is, I'd religate both for Sheff Utd & Fulham to stay up
It was only against Crystal Palace so hardly worth praising.
Wow palarse are so bad, the sooner this pub team is relegated the better, Burnley should of had 5 maybe 6, without zaha cheating for penalty this two bob pub team won't score again. Awful club awful football.
Watch the way Zaha is fouled without those tinted glasses/ As for the first part of your post, I entirely agree that Palace are woeful
Seems like Palace are more of a one man team than Spurs
why do you think that? not as if you're Manyoo or Millwall mate
You will never see sean dyche as a palace manager...keep dreaming....up the clarets!
I would as well. With some investment and his work ethic, I think he would fit perfectly
But why would he go to palace?

Wasn’t Ben Mee the clumsy oaf that clattered in to Meslier during the Leeds game, when Meslier was off the ground with both hands on the ball. Then had the cheek to try and claim that he was fouled?

Should be sacked now then new manager can start building for next season - if wait till end of season new manager won't have a chance as Parish and cohorts will do the usual and refuse to spend
Klopp list the plot and shows what I suggest what a good honest open bloke can do for a team - Dyche doing it again with a next to nothing budget at PL level
Lost the plot ??

What's the betting we will still be on last on Match of the Day? UTC

Another fine display from the mighty clarets...garth crooks tipped us for relegation last week , palace fans want sean dyche as there manager lol...keep dreaming palace....we finish above you every season,,it would be a step backwards for sean....up the clarets!
I can't believe some of the things Crooks says about Burnley. In his team of the week I sometimes think he doesn't even watch the games
Garth Crooks said last week Brighton played Burnley off the park?! Second half we murdered them and deserved to win. So Crooks talks out of his backside.
Not so sure. Palace are quite capable right now of losing 7 games on the trot. They did at the end of last season. They have 9 out through injury and Roy has lost the plot. They'll get hammered at the Amex next week.
Since you got promoted we have finished twice above you and you have twice above us. Money talks Dyche is being lined up as we speak
Good god man. It was only Wednesday when every Burnley fan was questioning Dyche, his selections and style. One win against a below strength Palace who couldn't be bothered in the cold and without Wilf, and suddenly the team are magnificent again, with hearts of lions, made of granite etc. Some of the dimmest fans and fickle fans around.
Palace must be truly awful to lose to the dingles at home.??
Your team half way down the Championship lost at home did they not
And there it is a Rover appears with his team never having a chance of ever appearing in the Premier.Keep looking up.UTC.
Well done Burnley and unlucky Palace.
So far this season we have been spoilt with wonderful football and unexpected results. So here's my predictions for the end of the season:
1st Man City
2nd Leicester City
3rd Everton
4th West Ham
And in relegation:
17th Sheff Utd
18th West Brom
19th Liverpool
20th Man Utd

John Terry next Palace manager

As a fulham fan, it pains me to see every single team around us winning. Great result for Burnley. Palace will be fine - in fact you'll all be fine, bar the bottom 3. We're doomed.
he did very well at Derby, and with you in his first season with no money? utilised all the resources the club had and finished in the top six, was it? seems ok to me, remember we dont have the expectations of a Chelsea etc, but we expect more than what we have right now.
Palace must be truly awful to lose to the dingles at home.??
Pope, Mee and Tarkowski - or Pickford, McGuire and Mings/Keane for England? No brainier! Come on Gareth, pick the players with true team spirit and desire that week in week out put their bodies on the line for the badge - not the pay packet...
Agree but hopefully no as we don’t want to risk anymore injuries at the expense of pointless international matches
It's all about Dyche for me. They are good players but his leadership and organisation makes them what they are. For England they wouldnt be the same.
I like the idea. Pope should be a given. Neither of the others quite gets a place on their own, but as a trio they clearly work. Second best number of clean sheets last season - and that’s never just the keeper’s achievement. All from a team that plays for half a crown and a bottle of pop a week. And don’t forget the end of season celebration when they get a benny & hot apiece.

Both teams WILL DEFINITELY be relegated next season. Embarrassing!
I’d say so because we won this time with some good football and a very rounded performance. Liverpool was more of a David and Goliath, stout resistance type of win. Neutrals moan about us being hard to watch and often they’re right, but I thought we showed some real quality today ??
Have to hand it to Sean and his team, they exemplify what the game should be all about in the PL..... football not stars!

Great win by the Clarets. They showed a real togetherness and work effort and no little skill today too. Lowton awesome. Just hope Mee is okay.
honestly you couldn't trust Crilly Pally to get wet in the sea.

Well done BurnLey!!
Southgate should at least try it. They know each other’s game inside out, put Trippier in at RB (who played with Mee for many years) and England would have a very solid defensive spine. Granted it wouldn’t be much use against weaker sides where we have all the ball, but it would be against the stronger teams England always come undone against in the tournaments.

I love the comments from the trolls who rage in comical tatrum taking. Burnley will be in the Premiership next season. Ben Mee is as hard as nails and...wait for this ...Drum roll if you please...Burnley have almost every season had amongst the fewest yellow cards and next to no red cards...but don't let that stop your wet dreams!
