The Spanish, French, Italian and especially German leagues are a joke.

I mean Juventus what 8 or 9 times on the trot?

Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga more than all the other teams combined.

Try covering that.

It's hilarious that the British press have now turned to "motivation" to explain Bale's average capabilities.

I don't know how many times y'all will need to be told that Gareth Bale is pure tripe.

He's been tripe for years, and all you've seen is a few minutes of some highlights. Pretty sure most of us who've played the game at pub level have a few highlights from our time - it's no different.

BBC should give up its fascination to get Zidane the sack, enjoying promoting negative news about him, he was one of the best footballers we have ever seen, his management career has not been that bad, three straight CL wins and yet here are the BBC trying to get him the sack or put him down

I suppose its got nothing to do with him being a Muslim right?

I doubt his religion is the source of ire for Madrid fans. Possibly it’s the results and manner of play that’s riling them up. Coupled with the Spanish media having a field day.

Gives many in football take glee when one of the big boys “struggling”. Barca have been hit the same way with Messi situation.

As for his previous triumphs “my granny could’ve managed that squad” etc ring true somewhat.

Even as foreigner, being Dutch, I have also wondered about this for some time now. I suspect that the BBC sports board will not care about this critisism. At all. It never does.

Can’t beleive this hasn’t been removed. Acutely sensitive moderators must be having an off day.

In answer to your wildly offensive statement/question: I doubt it has anything to do with that at all, why would it?

I doubt his religion is the source of ire for Madrid fans. Possibly it’s the results and manner of play that’s riling them up. Coupled with the Spanish media having a field day.

Gives many in football take glee when one of the big boys “struggling”. Barca have been hit the same way with Messi situation.

As for his previous triumphs “my granny could’ve managed that squad” etc ring true somewhat.

BBC and all media outlets have a lot of influence on peoples minds, its well known in football that the media influences many aspects of life, politics, war, culture and so many things happening in sport

The BBC have been at Zidane from day one, for what reason, RM have had some the greatest success with him, ok a few bad patches but thats normal for any club over periods of years
