How can you rave about a defender of team that concedes 4 goals ?
He might have been up and down the pitch all night,he may of been involved in Everton goals, but surely his main job is to defend ?

Who was your 2nd best player on the pitch,Lloris ?

Yes I thought that too. He was muscled off the ball leading to the winner. His shot almost hit the corner flag. Never contributes anything in the way of making goals or scoring them. So much for that Spurs Academy if that’s the best it can produce !

Like most home grown talent he get over-rated at 1st but then his true level becomes apparent, he is just not good enough for a team trying to challenge at the top. Expecting JM to move him on in the summer and replacing him with the impressive Skipp....just hope I am not over-rating him lol

That 91 game was a strange old affair. On their day a class Liverpool team, against a workmanlike Everton. But the wheels were falling off Liverpool at the time, Dalglish was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, Hillsborough finished him. Yer he won the title at Blackburn, but he was never the same.

Liverpools goals were class, Evertons were scruffy. Exciting though. (Dundee United fan)

So - Spuds are out of the cup, as predicted. Their long suffering fans will now wax lyrical about their brave performance and all those shots, but the fact of the matter is, regardless of whether they bottled this one, they just aren't good enough. They will go to Citeh and get thrashed on Saturday, same in the Carabao in April, ko'd by first reasonable team in Europa. They'll Never Win ANYTHING.

For some reason the so-called “Champions League” has been mentioned. Please educate me : Why is it called that when so many entrants are not the “champions” of the league that enters them.
What are they champions of ? Why are they gifted so much unjustifiable wealth to make them even richer. It’s almost like UEFA choose to heap favouritism on them to form their own league.
Let’s hope so.
