The first lockdown was in the summer, when we had nice weather and it was a pleasure to go out. Now it's the middle of winter and lashing it down, while all the gyms and exercise facilities are closed, and people are banned from travelling to the great outdoors. Why feign surprise? Even during a normal year people exercise less during winter.

Another pointless BBC article. 1st lockdown was summer. Here in Aberdeen it's barely been above freezing since mid November and it's dark by 4pm. What do they expect with closing down all the gyms and fitness centres? Jeezo .......
