Starmer needs to hold the Government to account and stop supporting them. Think about was is required and stick to it. Schools need to be back.

BJ should have been ripped apart for his atrocious record today - not presented with some softly spoken words from some room in suburbia - he needs to be in parliament remonstrating with that buffoon. If not him, someone else - Is there anybody?

Armchair bore

Why do you think it is OK for the UK to give some of our vaccines to 'help out the EU' but do not see the need for the EU to help out the UK by stopping the illegal migrant routes through France which are bringing Covid to the UK?

Don't you have the courage to answer for your comments?

And that's already be done. So the rest of the pensioners should just stay at home. nNo need for them to jump the queue. They don't need to be out and about.

The 80 year olds have already been vaccinated. It's the 70 year olds who mostly don't need to be vaccinated yet. They can just stay at home. They don't need to be out and about.

If school's are not back until March the 8th, then offer all the teachers the vaccine before then. Why teachers are not classed as front line workers is beyond my comprehension

It looks like Starmer is bowing to the Union's and not thinking about parents who have underlining health conditions. Not to mention the R number being pushed sky high by kids spreading Covid. It really shows he hasn't got a clue.

Kier Stoma with nothing positive to say or contribute yet again. The epitome of the labour supporter, criticise and blame others.

You must be a Rightwing zealot. Your pathetic name calling. Yet Tories are not taking responsibility but thrash about looking to accuse others

Tories dont do shame only Blame.

Labour issued a press release this afternoon that stated "6.2 million key workers would benefit from being moved up the priority list”. This was taken from ONS data of key workers who are entitled to whose children are currently entitled to go to school and those entitled to priority testing.

This would include MP's, civil servants, journalists and investment bankers, not just teachers.

You only have to listen to Prof Van Tam, Sir Keir, to let you know why teachers should not be moved up the queue. Even they know they should wait until the 7 groups have been vaccinated then they can join the queue behind the police & shop workers & rightly so.

With a few exceptions, our Labour politicians, MP's and councillors are basically just Red Torys who hate the ideology of unions, the working class and support the Tory austerity program that attacks the weakest and most vulnerable and have no interest in creating a fair and equal society.
They support a capitalist system that is divisive and looks after the richest few.

Starmer is as daft as Sturgeon. Starmer apparently doesn't want vaccinations done on clinical need but politics.

Sturgeon meanwhile wants Ministers to resign when their departments makes mistakes, but doesn't think it's essential for the PM and ministers to check that their instructions are being carried out properly.

Both are trying to score political points from a national tragedy.

It is remarkable, isn't it, how many ToryTrolls hate teachers, rejoice at Brexit spelling the end of Erasmus in the UK and deride 'experts'? Learning and education don't seem to be priorities to them.

Actually, 'worrying' is better than 'remarkable'.

In one unthinking statement. Starmer has alienated millions of 50 to 70 year old, now ex, Labour supporters. He seems he’ll bent on destroying the Labour Party from within. His “followers” on the front bench are useless and their lack of competence is being laid bare all over the news media.
No he hasn't only the blinkered dopeys like youthink this way whilst supporting a lying, cheating, uturning, incompetent govt and pm

Many would gladly give up there position in the queue

I am sick to death of "Sir Keir" playing politics. Is he going to be there to explain to a 69 year old with a weakened immune system following chemo that some 30 year old teacher had to be vaccinated first. Will he be there? Of course he won't - all he wants is cheap political point scoring. Pathetic,

There have been some teachers, along with many Classroom Assistants who have kept some schools open to support the Front Line - shame Rayner and the Teaching Unions NEVER mention the Classroom Assistants, who don't get all the teacher's perks, 100% all year round pay either etc etc - and a number of Headteachers, especially in Special Schools have fought off Unions and done all they could.
