I would hate to be there this year, all those noisy so-called fans who only turn up after getting well oiled will be supplemented by all those who have been locked down and unable to get out.

I suspect that many Europeans will either avoid it or be forced to stay at home (still) in September.

Having said that, I hope it is a great success and that Europe triumph again despite everything.

Love Golf, but have NEVER got the Ryder cup.

I spend 2 years watching Football,Rugby and other sports, cursing the Italians,French Spanish etc.
Then for 1 weekend i'm supposed to cheer for them ?

Can anyone explain why i should cheer for an Italian against a Yank ?

And as for cheering for Jock's,Taffy's and Paddy's !!

Definitely no large crowds to be expected despite it being 8 months away.
Hopefully this will play into the hands of the European players with less of a home advantage for Team USA. It would be incredible to defeat Team USA on their soil.

I haven't looked at a Golf HYS in a month or so, but nothing much changes.

Maksi post number 4 appearing from beneath the Swilcan Bridge to howl at the moon

"Wouldn't we all like to play as bad as Rory McIlroy?" Harrington smiled"

Go on it's beautifully tee'd up for a "MacHarrington side splitter Maksi?

Anyone name a Norwegian comedian? Nope. Me neither.

Please give the xenophobia a rest.

We have been waiting for MacLroy to start again so the articles can begin.

Go on the BBC and see if you can count 1000 times the words MaclLroy have been written. I have.

The funny thing is he hasn't got game anymore, like Woods but it never ends.

Yeah. The problem isn’t Hatton playing in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. It’s parties, raves and all the other rubbish that is going on. If anything, pro sport helps, as it might keep some people at home watching tv.

In Norway we have lost 576 since the start.

Keep your distance, stick a mask over your ugly boat race, wash your hands a dozen times a day and you shouldn't have a problem.

The Ryder Cup will go ahead but they have to keep the fans away from each other, which won't be possible because we act like animals, so don't let them near the place.
