Out of the race for top four, out of both of the cups obviously no hope whatsoever of winning the Europa, so season over the goonies.

So not planning to be a long term supporter? Wasn't winning the FA cup good enough? You expected top 4 this season? Your either not an Arsenal supporter or deluded...It's a long term rebuild, was never going to happen over night...FML...Where do these 'supporters' come from? The last thing Arsenal need is glory hunting negative 'supporters' gobbing off...Find another team or back this one....

I think having your most creative player, Ozil, sat in the reserves, is a disgrace. The way Arsenal fans turned on him shows a total lack of class. As a man Utd fan I would love him at my club.

I totally agree with you. Arteta have better players to use and he does not listen to fans input.. he would tell you he is the manager. Williams, Nketia and Elneny all in same line up cannot win the match. No matter what you say he will never drop Williams.

Spot on! Southampton by far the better team

Willian is the new Ozil. We’re paying him silly money until he’s 35!

Pepe is perhaps the worst signing ever?

Eddie- bless him but he’s just not cut out for PL .. enough is enough - give balogun a game!!

Cedric at left back when he can barely do right back

Team selection was appalling today

Well that was terrible. Even with that starting lineup I didn’t think we would be up to it, and boy were we useless. Overhit crosses, 2nd to every ball and the fact we didn’t even bother to starting playing until 75 minutes says it all. Fair play to Southampton for playing to their strengths, but when you have Pepe and Willian playing 90 minutes, you’ve always got a chance.

Not really terrible. Just typical of the current squad. Having flukes a few league wins expectations are far too high for such a poor squad and a manager that can’t cope with bang average players who have little motivation,
The fact that Xhaka gets on the team sheet, and even in the 1st XI, shows how dire the situation is.

At the start of the season getting a more expereinced player like Willian seemed sensbile but at £220k a week it's sheer madness he's lasted one game and has been been rubbish since. When will Arsenal stop wasting money on limp players. We get rid of Ozil just to plug the gap with Willian. Our ability to get rid of the Mustafi's, Eleny's and Kolasinic is a joke. We'll get nothing for them!!

Arsenal undone again both technically and tactically. Saints were simply in complete control of midfield and Ward-Prowse pulled the strings with an outstanding display. Arsenal will be disappointed that their big players didn't turn up. Saints have been outstanding under RH and it is clear there is much more to come from his leadership. Arsenal mid table mediocrity and firing blanks.

Now only winning the Europa League can save our season and frankly we are out of our depth at the latter stages.

Willian and Pepe ? What was Arteta thinking? Pepe poor since arriving and there is something seriously wrong with Willain.

Once again we see a dive go unpunished. 87 minutes on the clock and Shane Long flops dramatically as he sees Holding approaching him. Until the authorities start clamping down hard on diving it will continue to blight the game.

Ironically, had Long stayed on his feet, he would have found himself though with a 1-on-1 with Leno.
