India's series-clinching victory over Australia at the Gabba is one of their "greatest wins ever" according to former batsman Mohammad Kaif.

An absolute class batsman and had Sachin played in a different era, he'd have been revered even more. India's greatest batsmen for me since the 1970s had been Gavaskar, Sachin and Dravid, Perhaps Kohli could enter that realm with a few more years of performing the way he is presently.

The youngsters who were given an opportunity to play for India, due to injuries of the regulars, have performed beyond expectation.

They have done well enough to retain their place on the team and have put the selectors on the hot seat. It's a good problem to have.

Re captaincy. What do the Indian supporters think the selectors will do? It seems almost to a man/woman you are in favour of Rahane keeping the job & playing Kohli as a batsman. Two issues, if there weren't injuries and absences, most probably Ind would have lost Which proves that the selection of players is biased and based on past glories and personal relations. Winning against Aus or any team should be achieved on regular basis The mentality of being underdog against aus is not acceptable
