Neutral here.
Never a freekick for the winning goal by Penandez
Then freekick placed in a better spot.
If I were a Liverpool fan, I’d be fuming.
Beggars belief how referees are weak at the ‘theatre of cheats’.
For that reason and all the others, most neutrals I believe will be willing David Moyes’ West Ham to do them

It's always been clear to me - but seemingly not the media - that although Liverpool have undoubtedly had the best first team over the past 3 years, they haven't got the best squad.

You can't play essentially the same team game after game (lucky as they have been able to do so) without it taking its toll eventually. Things are just coming home to roost, that's all.

This is spot on.

In their first CL final appearance Injured Salah was replaced by Injured Lallana while madrid got Bale in.

Its quite impressive they won the title last year without signing anyone outside of minamino last Jan.

So, in other words, they cant afford the players both Manchester teams, & Chelsea, buy on a regular basis? We live within our (and FFP rules) means & have bought the final jigsaw pieces due to selling Coutinho.

This isn't some sort of fantasy team based on a billionaires dream, or a team based on grabbing ever Hollywood player. But it's the premier league champions & won the CL 18 months ago.

Great goals? Three defensive errors (first two Man U goals) one Liverpool. Then a 'pinpoint' freekick that should have either been stopped by the wall (he ducked) or the keeper.
Never a foul for the freekick in the first place. Shocking dive. Man u with refs in their pockets yet again. Can never win fairly ??

As a City fan, I wasn't bothered who won this game but found it an entertaining one that could've gone either way - much better than what this "derby" has served up for years. Cracker of a match from great rivals. It was a proper toe to toe game and no quarter given and great respect shown for the FA Cup. Salah was lethal for Liverpool as was Rashford for United. Defensively United made a share of errors and it cost them one very soft goal. Yet again Fernandes steps up when it matters most. He has recovered many games for United this season. Dear Liverpool,

We have done our best to help you.

We sent out Dr Marcus Rashford MBE to ensure your children got fed.

We understand you are going through a rough spell at the moment, so we gave you a goal head start, and then let you equalise.

But sometimes you have to take responbility and make things happen for yourselves.

Chins up and good look for the future.

Kind Regards
Manchester

From a City fan, credit where it’s due- what a free-kick from Fernandes. Great technique as well as a fantastic game of football.
As for Liverpool, honestly can’t see them winning anything this season anymore due to injuries and their slump (3 defeats in 4 now and that one win against Villa youth). The league isn't looking likely for them and i think UCL isn't either.
Well played United

God no!

A couple of good relegations and then let them fight their way back up - a la Sunderland.
It would be very edifying for them and their followers.
Don't forget - Man City have done it recently - and Man Utd have been down and came back up in living memory.
Liverpool were in division 2 until Shankly brought them up in the late 1950s - so they aren't, historically, members of the top table.
