A remarkable recovery with the bat gives India an excellent chance of a draw in the decisive fourth Test against Australia.

A draw is a win for India. I hope they bat out a draw, grind out a series result and retain the trophy. They have shown great attitude in this series, after the 36. All the talk about T20 making players unable to apply themselves in Test Matches proved wrong. Rahane has been brilliant as captain.

Of course they might skittle the Aussies and win the series.

India batting 100+ overs in each of last two innings is impressive. Assuming (and hoping) there's no rain, it will be interesting to see if that's taken a toll on the Aussie quicks when they try to bowl India out.

Great fight again, albeit some daft shots from Rahane and Agarwal.

Only 1 team can win this Test match. Barring a collapse from Australia - there won’t be enough time to set a target and chase with a storm at Brisbane brewing. Good toss to lose. Surely if Australia wanted to win the series - should of bowled first knowing that they have 3 days to get 20 wickets. Would of taken a brave captain to bowl first - but weather forecasts in 2021 are pretty accurate!

Interesting dilemma for Paine, after dropping the Border-Gavaskar trophy. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Aussies call off the SA tour. Paine’s time as captain ticking (no hundreds) - wants to play as much cricket before he’s dropped for the 2023 test campaign - but Aussie management might want to duck the SA’s to keep their place in the test championship. India have done a job on Lyon and Green. It’s the 3 quicks vs India all series. Aussies letting personal milestones (400 wickets get in front of their series goals. Green touted to be the best all rounder in the world already. Sundar and Shardul showing more ability with the ball. On the other hand, should of bowled more with the new ball - Kyle Jamieson was a handful to Indians.. and Pakistanis.

A Draw means India retains the Border Gavaskar Trophy for 3rd time in a row ( 1 Series win in India, 1 series win down under in 2019 and this if it is a draw tied at 1- 1 ).

This is remarkable performance by India. I was reading somewhere that Cricket Australia has raked in $ 350 Million from this series.

This makes Australia India rivalry only next to the Ashes.

This series has proved one thing that the Indians probably have the best bench strength in the world. 3 players made debut at Gabba and all three have taken wickets ( 3 each) and two of them stiched up a 123 run partnership for the 7th wicket and it was sublime batting not crazy tail enders stuff.
