Good solid win.
Moyes is doing a real solid job at WHU - a far better fit than the old fraud Pellegrini.
But wow, Burnley are a disgrace at football. No hope of ever winning a trophy and never going to go anywhere with Dyche. All the great stuff to watch on Prime and then you have a Burnley game advertised lol!

Disgrace? The disgrace is you & your pathetic attention seeking. The disgrace is that the BBC allow the likes of you to continue trolling their forum for your needy fix of down-votes & responses by talking utter drivel about teams you know nothing about, about a game you never saw/listened to. Every game this w/e will have the same negative rubbish from you.

Entertaining game today end to end stuff! Shame yaramalenko ddnt look late in the game and set up Antonio and a bit more composure in front of goal! but another win with a clean sheet! Think we need another striker to take a bit of responsibility off Antonio!! All in all good performance tho
Very frustrating watching Burnley boss so much of the game, you’d have thought they were the home team!
West Ham strolling around, where’s the urgency and Moyes please teach West Ham to keep hold of the ball

Burnley are a tough team to beat; 1-0 is a decent result whoever you are. West Ham perhaps earnt a second goal, but one was enough in the end. The Other Clarets were tough to break down, but didn't offer much threat, so one or two, the result was the right one.
Burnley will be lower half this season, but they're under no real threat of relegation. WHU? Could finish anywhere from 4th to 11th!

Really need to start putting more chances away, but I’m happy with three points.
Aside from a couple of errant touches at the end, I think that was Fornal’s best game in a West Ham shirt.
That was a game we’d have lost in the past, or drawn at the most. Grinding out results may not be pretty but it’s getting us the points.

I've seen a bit of Fornals since he signed. He was both lightweight AND off the pace when he signed. He's still a bit lightweight in the challenge, but his work-rate is impressive. He doesn't have the the occasional genius of a Lanzini, but he's much more effective & consistent.
Not the flair WH fans might have expected, but a good, solid team player. I think he's worth his place.

I agree. Have wondered what Moyes saw in him in the past but his work rate was tremendous (as usual) and his decision making greatly improved.
Delighted for you, are you a first team player?
Totally agree re putting chances away. The decision-making needs to quicker and better. Too often, the front line look like individuals playing together rather than teammates - going to an ill-advised attempt on goal rather than passing to the man in space. The chances made against the likes of MU, AFC, CFC & LFC but ended losing because players not making the incisive pass at the right time
If Moyes had stayed at United they would have won the league by now.
The only thing he's won in 22 years years of management was the second division with Preston North End, somehow I doubt it, Martinez won the FA cup with Wigan. I think he was more likely to accomplish his only winning feat at United should he have continued rather than the PL.
Good solid performance and a much needed result to keep us looking up. Just need the forward wingers to look up and link more as they are just too greedy and don't release early enough.
Big sigh of relief and we go again...

Lack of creativity in the final pass or shot on goal for Burnley - they need to add to the squad in this transfer window. West Ham deserved the win, comfortable in the end due to Burnley's poor quality in final third.
Is there any point to Burnley? Maybe they should just give up and switch to Rugby League instead.
Well done the Irons and great to see Antonio back doing what hoes best. West Ham are an all together different threat when he is play such is his pace and power. Burnley v are back close to the mire again and need to find some consistency. West Ham 8th and hunting for the Europa places.

A very happy Hammers fan here in Estonia. Well done on another win and a very solid performance. Made up !!

Perhaps you would like WHU to be playing in the Championship/League 1?
Had Moyes not saved the club twice from relegation that's where WHU would be playing!
This is Moyes first season trying to build a team.
He knows the team needs more goals and more style anf that will come as he improves the squad.
You don't need to like him but he has earned your respect and your support for the team.

Not a supporter but good to see the Hammers having a solid season so far.
Burnley still look like they're wading thorough treacle most of the time but they'll be fine this season.

Won't be long before the government suspend the Premier League if the players keep ignoring the protocols
Watch Snodgrass when the first penalty goes in - he clearly doesn’t give a damn about protocols.
The problem is they don't keep dying, so they wonder what all the fuss is about, as do a great many others, if SAGE etc protected the elderly and sick they might do much better.

West Ham once again making the most out of very little. Only lost 3 games in last 15, with potentially a nice run of games coming up. Need a decent striker in this transfer window if any chance of a Europa place.
See ya Chelsea! ??

Burnley are too old and too slow. Got to start re-building now or we are going to disappear. Good attitudes don't win anything. Disgruntled
Dare we believe need to fend off Chelsea and the other London club Manchester utd for rice
A few footballers can't celebrate together but 16 rugby players can form a scrum.
A scrum is part of the game, as is tackling and going shoulder to shoulder when challenging for a header in football.
Surely footballers can do without hugs and kisses on the pitch for a few months yet.

With Moyes in charge they'll get no more than 33 or 34.
36 will keep you up as it's been for a good few years.
spot the club you want down
both play in claret and blue
be good to see both in league 2

Another good solid performance by WHU, just need to be a little more clinical in front of goal. WHU need another striker hopefully get one in the Jan transfer window. Keep going you Hammers and possible top 6 finish this season, but PL so tight could be as low as 10th. COYI
Obonna shoe in for hammer of the season
Stiff competition from Soucek
Coufal right up there as RB of the year...
And Rice.
If he is, I hope you don't engrave the trophy! He looks so much fitter & keener than before Moyes arrived, hopefully he will not take the Felipe Anderson route of 2018/19, when he looked class for the first half of the season, and disappeared in the New Year.
Should have been 4 or 5 some awful decision making from West Ham in the final third , a deserved win with really only Dwight McNeil coming out with any credit for Burnley. Dawson outstanding at centre half but it wasn’t the best of games
Totally agree, need more composure and better finishing. Who should we look to sign?? Diego Costa is on the market...
Didn't like the Dawson signing when it was announced. But i'll gladly eat humble pie at the moment. Doing well for us and long may it continue.,
Agree completely. Mentioned this in a reply earlier. The coaches need to work on this and drill it into the players - stop dithering, see option(s) and make the pass/shot quickly. You're teammates. Too many selfish attempts on goal when there are better options eg was it Bowen today who attempted goal attempt when Antonio was in space square of him? I was screaming at tv square it... didn't happen
Where the Irons finish is very much down to if they keep Declan Rice during the January window, Without him they will be a poor side, for all the Irons fans it would be good for the team to get board backing. COYI.
You said that last game, you’re obviously a parrot
yes the memory of winning the premiership with West Ham will be immeasurable

Moyes boring the opposition to death as per.
He really is a failure of a manager.

Yet another moronic comment from a sad little troll. Declare your team and let’s go to town on them - unless it’s Liverpool or City it won’t be too hard. Let me guess - a Spud?
Not as much as you as a failure of a poster!
I take that all day, I so hope we get another forward in though we are so short of any back up now.
I know Haller was not great but he was better than no one
I know Haller was not great but he was better than no one
Who was no one and where did he play
Respect the three points, but The Hammers are a lot better without the ball than with it. Criminally wasteful in possession. Burnley always give us a hard time, so I’m very happy to have come through that one.

Maybe one day he'll find a job that he won't fail in.

Well done Hammers but please try to add a couple more goals to calm the nerves of us fans. Do what you can to hang onto Rice but if he wants to go then so be it. Let's not have another Payet or Arno fiasco.
I agree. Looks like we have a decent bunch all willing to play for each other; if Rice does go we want to minimise any negative effects on the dressing room - more of a good luck son and thanks for helping build a good team her type of thing. Getting to Europe may go a long way to keeping him? COYI
Rice is not like Payet, he's a top bloke Im sure he will always give it his all regardless.
Rice knows he is probably the first name on team sheet (when fit) at WH. He has to ask himself if that would be the case at CFC despite his affinity to the club. Then again his heart might rule his head.

Delighted with the 3 pts but should really have put the game to bed. Burnley are hard to break down, saying that we dodged a bullet not pursuing Tarkowski who really should have cut out the cross that Antonio slotted home. But a clean sheet as well shows again defensively we are doing ok.
Our lack of spending is really starting to show. Everyone knows we can defend, rarely well beaten but oh my god there is absolutely no creativity. We’re desperate for creative spark all over the top end of the pitch, nothing at all to offer going forward it’s depressing to watch
tight at the bottom and can’t see where the next victory for Burnley is coming from - unless they play Leeds soon
Or wolves
Thought they had played Leeds 2 games ago.....And lost

West Ham fan here and totally agree. As was said in commentary, Dyche is the longest serving manager at one club in the Premier League. The board have to back him.
That said, glad we finally managed to beat your lot and the first time Moyes has ever beaten Dyche so a happy Hammer here. :)

He’ll only buy more defenders as he’s obsessed with keeping clean sheets someone needs to point out he needs a goalscorer rather than the two he insists on playing

How silly it was to have that Argentinian manager. WHU very lucky to have Moyes as manager again.

Friend of mine loves south America he named he's son Rio now has twins named them arge and tina
How things change , you fickle lot wanted moyes out 2 months ago ??
I think you will find it was mainly trolls that wanted him out, now we know why
Not me - I wanted the owners out and still do. Hopefully before Sullivan pops his clogs and passes it on to his ‘wonderful’ son.
i didnt want Moyes out I wanted him in for the next ten years.
If Moyes had stayed at United they would have won the league by now.
Moyes keeps it going. Thought we played some nice football in final third. Defense was great: Oggie immense and Dawson looks fantastic. Can't see why Benrhama subbed and Yarmo did his usual fanny about with it, do some step overs, give the ball away and poor tracking back. Square ball to Mikey and he's in! Happy Hammer though. COYI
