Two real moments of quality there from some of our best recent performers, good to see. VAR making itself useful for a change was a bonus, never a red card.

The kid hardly touched him.
Longstaff's drama lessons almost paid off.
Glad VAR got involved and the ref did the right thing.
( Not a fan of either team )

Shocking red and Later down to yellow From ref when it wasn’t even a yellow, long staff should have been cautioned!

Leno's double save was truly awesome. Willian, not sure he should be playing there is clearly something wrong. Pepe, leave him out of the league games please and lovely to see Aubameyang score.

Newcastle squandered their chances but a fair performance.

Totally agree. Everyone's quite rightly been praising Tierney and Saka this season, but Leno's form has been excellent too.

The real question is, who is in who's shadow nowadays? As long as Arsenal are in Spurs' shadow, you stick to talking about Ozil and how good it was when Henry played for you. It's all you have left :D

Nasty club - appalling refereeing. Unwarranted early yellows for Newcastle and then disgraceful overturning of red which was clear sending off. Out of control, studs up, both feet off the ground but escapes as wearing a red shirt!

You need to pop along to Specsavers
You should not be allowed to comment as you clearly have no understanding of the game of football. I presume it is a poor attempt to wind people up. Otherwise you are a serious idiot. Removed

Fed up of hearing Newcastle are a hard team to break down, Occasionally i would like to hear the opposition say we had to defend well to get a result. Having to watch the opposition play hoping we get a breakaway goal has become too much of a frustration.

I think that over the last 10 years arsenals record is still better. It is only the last 5 that spurs have done better and this is I think the first time that has been true over any five year period since the early sixties and even in this current five years of Spurs dominance Arsenal still have won the most trophies

Since when were Managers and Footballers smart? They kick a ball? I don't expect them to be Nobel Laureates and Cutting Edge Economists. Meanwhile, everybody else is walking around wearing masks that don't work and policing everybody else into the same stupidity. I think the world of football's opinion is a scapegoat for the idiocy of everybody else. Especially the Politicians.

If Steve Bruce hadn’t got lucky at football he would have worked in the same shipyard as me. You’re right he’s no economist or moral philosopher - and should leave his pronouncements for subjects where he has expertise - telling centre halves to hoof it into the stands.

Roll on Tuesday for more of the same. But at least Steve can use the extra time and short period between the games as an excuse, when we play with the same tactics to give Sheff Utd their first win of the season.
