That's enough liquid to fill 20 Olympic swimming pools - or many, many thousands of baths.

If I was in a pub, I'd raise a toast to all those queue jumping London and Rochdale teachers who have gamed the system and got their jabs ahead of the most vulnerable. Well done all of you!
What's happened to the story BBC? It's gone from front page to the England page to oblivion in a flash. Are teachers untouchable then? Removed

Maybe the truth behind the headline was that they utilised vaccines that would have been thrown away otherwise.
Nice to see these lovely people have not been wasting their time.
A fine example to the rest of us and all their eager pupils.

So its ok for teachers, who are forced to go to work and to mix with kids, who have no restrictions on them, and then go home to their own families who are sheilding, without any protection? your being the selfish one, if you wasn't you wouldnt have made it about you 3 comments down
So, you're clearly in favour of a lockdown - to prevent spread - but you don't want teachers who are at risk of exposure and hence a transmission path to be vaccinated ahead of you, bearing in mind that a mixture of vaccines reduces transmission? Clown.
Perhaps when it was checked it was not accurate? that's the thing about mainstream media, they have at least a little accountability.
I was a teacher and I understand the worries that they may have about picking up Covid, but I have to agree with you. This will go down very badly with other people who are also at risk, but who have to wait their turn.
Just another step in the UK beomming a Caliphate.

Nope. They jumped the queue. A senior Doctor has come out this morning and said it was wrong.
Hospitals offer unused vaccines to their staff first and surgery's decide who they contact if they have any left. I'm extremely clinically vulnerable and haven't been offered one yet. A quick call from my Doctor saying she has some left offer and I can be there and vaccinated in 10 mins.

5th Nov 2020 (start of lockdown 2) 24,151 cases
2nd Dec 2020 (end of lockdown 2) 16,169 cases
So why did the rate of COVID drop in England during the 2nd lockdown while pubs were closed and schools were open?
What you want to be true is not a good barometer for policy when the observed reality is different.
Schools will open and the rate will continue to drop.
