Arsenal's recent resurgence is checked by a stubborn Crystal Palace, who claim a hard-fought draw at Emirates Stadium.

Still think Arsenal will be the top London club this season..
Tottenham. To defensive. Nauseating manager
Crystal Palace. Up and down.
Chelsea. Well. Think Frank will get the chop.
West Ham. Unpredictable.
Fulham. Unfortunately relegation bound.
Poor show from the London clubs really!

All the danger from palace came from the left so he did a descent job, but going forward is another story.
We missed Tierney as for aude he can't play with laca its that simple, the sooner they realise the better it will be.
When me and best mate are working together it's a disaster, same for them.

When you think you’ve turned a corner, and then feel like you’ve done a U-turn. Strength in depth is poor at the moment and really showed with Smith-Rowe isn’t on his game then there’s no one to replace as a Plan B.

Frustrating game but at least we didn’t lose I guess...!

As and afc fan I see the irony in your point. A few wins and suddenly it was all roses. Will take a long time to get this AFC team to anywhere near challengers. Some talented youngsters but too much to expect them to do it each week. Smith-Rowe has looked excellent but at 20 and limited experience he is going to be in and out of games for a while. Some hope for the future but a very very long road

Arteta didn't say "I'm so happy" like pep today. I like it when they win and he smiles like a grateful fool and says "I'm so happy". It's funny. But they are playing better so it's good. It was a good game and crystal palace played good as well. Zaka is a good player. I like him.

It's not that much more impressive, but Arsenal's true number of wins in a row was 4. Unless you don't want to count the FA Cup match on Jan 9th when Arsenal defeated Newcastle 2-0.

Of course you don't like to mention the FA Cup competition since that is an arena where Arsenal have some relatively recent results to brag about. Arsenal have won 4 of the last 7 FA Cups: 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2020.

What the hell has an average team got to do with the stature of a club? Did Utd become a 'lesser club' when they were relegated in 74'? Did Spurs after dropping down in 77'? Every big club has bad patches, even Liverpool have spent time in the second tier since WW2, longer in fact than Arsenal, Everton, Utd and Spurs combined. Did that make them a 'lesser' club? No.

It never went away. The Chelsea game was a 'all or nothing' performance, and the same bad habits soon crept back, first half against Brighton, first ten - fifteen against the Baggies, then a full return against Newcastle and Palace. Arteta clearly believes, in his delusion, that slow buildups from deep defence will pay off. Yet game after games shows - it doesn't.

Still think Arsenal will be the top London club this season..
Tottenham. To defensive. Nauseating manager
Crystal Palace. Up and down.
Chelsea. Well. Think Frank will get the chop.
West Ham. Unpredictable.
Fulham. Unfortunately relegation bound.
Poor show from the London clubs really!

It’s all about up North... Again.

As of so many Arsenal performances of the last few years it's not worth commenting on! Wenger would have got more out of these players and provided some great football to boot! There's a famous saying, not sure if it's known in football circles but it's " be careful what you wish for"

Unfortunately, well, depending on how you look at it, the ban on spectators has left football naked in all its glory. Sky etc can't deflect from the rubbish being served up with endless crowd shots and gesture frames, mascots pratting around, managers faking 'aggravation' for the cameras, leaving the lack of quality exposed. Even the top four leave a lot to be desired.

Arsenal are a mid table team now, I think the EL is out of our reach. The odd win here and there just isn't enough but I really can't see any solution to this. Emery is a great trophy winning manager, Arteta out isn't going to change anything. I don't know how anyone can motivate these players consistently to actually achieve a decent premier league position.
