Curious game. Saints the better 1st half, but sterile; their best chances all offside. West Ham played their flair players, but were compact, stifling, & entirely wasted every set piece. 2nd half, much more open, yet between them, they crafted only one decent chance & McCarthy foiled Benrahma.

Decent game, fair result.

Haller is on his own every game, usually our nearest player to him is 20 yards away and defenders (in the plural) just a few. He hasn't got the hustle and bustle or dynamic that Antonio can offer. Ever played up front on your own with four defenders? Not easy unless you have a bit of speed, unfortunately, Haller doesn't and our system and set up doesn't support him.

Spot on duffy. I have said it many times that West- Ham would be better off playing with 10 men. He is useless. Great to see Antonio back. He will take hammers up the tab. What a player Antonio is. Now, other teams will have to keep an additional player back. Less teams will take the risk leaving him and go forward. Comper to when playing Haller we allways had 2 extra players coming at us.

HALLER has never looked up for it and usually wears a expression of what the F am i doing here cos i have always thought his VERY VERY small time agent JUST SAID its SALE OF THE CENTURY, no other silly mugs are going to make that offer. This agent lives in a caravan and has 7 others in his stable with a combined certified CURRENT value of less than 2 mill euroes

Unfortunately he's lost his bottle and he's back to us playing boring (must not lose) football. He's happy we've got a few points and now all he's interested in is mid table or avoiding relagation.

Think moyes has done a good job. A year ago west ham was an absolute shambles. Moyes has come in and built a solid foundation with spending literally no money. Yes the last few games have been flat but 3 points off 5th place at this stage in the season is good progress. Bring in another striker and whu would look a lot better.

You can see how uncomfortable he is with it like in the Chelsea and Brighton games, where he's having to drop back towards CAM and therefore not be in a position to take shots. Giving him service and letting him be a big target would help a lot

that being said, I'd hope he's a bit more lethal with his shots if he wants to play like that.

I have been bemused for years as to why people who cannot speak correctly, are allowed on national television.Bad enough when their comments are inane, state the obvious, and meaningless but they sound even worse when they don't pronounce the letter T, say 'free' for three and say fantastic and quality (without the T) over and over. Solution...turn sound off.

You must be talking about Paul Merson. His English is appalling and his pronunciation a joke; 'nedder' ( meant to be a header), along with 'free' (3) are just 2 examples. He says everything twice too. I don't know how he keeps his job at Sky; being inarticulate, uneducated and repetitive are obviously qualities to get a job on TV these days.
