Silly silly and not called for comment, after countless days/months of lockdown angst and depression, along with the likelihood of even more to follow with the new generation lost 'normal'. You are a nasty little prat.

It's the French that are sending them, the average French an does not want to be surrounded by millions of illegal economic migrants, jihadists and a few asylum seekers, better to send them to UK where we will let servicemen sleep on the street to free up housing for the dregs of humanity Removed

No it's not.
This is due to a pandemic.
The illiberal remain voters have always stated how good the connected world is and why we don't need to be self sufficient.
Connected world is good for luxuries and items you can't grow locally, but for 30 years we've become relient on foreign food for sustenance, not luxuries. We were always going to hit a seige situation, brexit or not, we're an island!
"The illiberal remain voters have always stated how good the connected world is and why we don't need to be self sufficient."

This country hasn't fed itself since before the Crimean War, Grandad.

What a spectacular own goal yet again by Hancock! In an effort to justify T4 he tried to cause panic with mutant virus.
Result the world close their borders to the UK. Does nobody in this government think before they open their mouths.
They are simply the most incompetent bunch of morons to run a country ever!!
I'm sorry, you're the moron.

What do you want, people to lie to you and the rest of the world?

Look at the idiots on Saturday, charging North to pulute their families and everyone close to them - if they didn't have the virus when they got on the trains they almost certainly did by the time they got off.

Of course we could have a police state, create curfews and ban travel without any proof

When serious health professionals Dr Artin Massihi and Dr Dan Erickson and many many others have shown that this virus first virus was no more dangerous than normal Flu. My Flat mate had it, she barely noticed it. ...And that most viruses tend to evolve weaker. Is the continued global over reaction to anything new short of a need for psychiatric intervention. Removed

I caught it 2 days before the first lockdown in March, it wiped me out for weeks and it took months to get my energy levels back to normal.

Flu has never done that to me.

While the UK government and the devolved administrations are fighting the pandemic the Labour party, unions, business lobby groups and the media are fighting the UK government.

No wonder this country is in such a fudging mess.
The country is in "such a fudging mess" because it has one of the most incompetent governments ever, though of course because of Brexit, morons like yourself are fully behind them and instead find spurious arguments to defend Johnson and his bunch of idiots. Removed

Any one who thinks the government will not now ask for another extension is deluded.

I want it done one way or the other but look at their track record.

Prove me wrong Boris go through with it. Sooner were out the sooner the campaign to rejoin can start. I mean it will take a decade at least but we will go back.

The weak cannot contend with the strong after all. And this govt is very weak :)

But wasnt it the gammon argument that we didnt control our borders or that while in the EU we had no control.

The ones who screwed up were the ones I saw whilst Christmas shopping at Westfield the other day, going in to shops without wearing masks. Most of these were young males accompanied by their girlfriends who were wearing masks. The guys obviously felt they were too cool to wear them.

Don't blame the government those types are the real culprits.
Nope those guys are not causing a problem. The masks don't work.

BUT your government which is still allowing hospitals to knowingly put covid patients into cancer wards are the REAL CULPRITS.

Because they are not unwittingly passing on an infection to other healthy people who will shrug it off, they are deliberately giving it to people whose immune system is very weak.

I would call it murder.

All of this can be solved very quickly, if you're at deaths door stay at home and shield yourself, if not go out and mingle as much as possible and spread this about quickly, with an increase of 70% transmissibility herd immunity can be achieved very quickly, get the economy going, and save lives a stronger economy= better health outcomes. This is a myth... herd immunity is about vaccination not infection.. yes infection will slow once everybody has been infectied and the dead are buried.. but it wont go away and will be waiting for the shielders to come out from under their blankets... what do you think will happen then?
And what about the NHS? My friend Kevin was 50 when he died from the Covid he caught from one of his patients.
