He needs a sustained run in the first team in order to improve but obviously with Vardy so prominent this is quite unlikely to happen. Do not criticize him too heavily as he simply needs more first team action.

Me and the wife were reminiscing over breakfast this mornin about Palace beating Liverpool in ‘90 and both recalled the now famous story about how Alan Pardew went home to paint his fence after scoring the winning goal.

Crystal Palace are a very strange team; in that you can never tell how they will perform game to game. They can just as easily draw or even beat a top 6 team, as get thrashed by a top 6 team by more than a half a dozen goals.

Always liked Brendan Rodgers - too top manager (in world’s top 3 right now).
Am proud to be a supporter of Liverpool football club but was ashamed of the disgusting way the club and fans treated Brendan when he was our manager.
Not the first time either as Bill Shankly was disgracefully shunned by his own club and fans when he retired.

Definitely. This was the case in the Europa qualifying, where the tie was forfeited if a game could not be fulfilled by one of the teams. Plus Spurs got a bye vs Orient in the League Cup for the same reason.
BUT they won't as the FA are much too scared of going up against a club with their money.
Money and power by certain clubs is killing the game.

This was a better game than the result suggests. Iheanacho should have put two away in the first 45 - I've never rated him, sadly he keeps confirming my doubts. Palace turned it on after half time, and they'd be happy with a draw here, given how dominant Leicester were and how open it was in the first 45 mins. Bleeding Iheanacho!! Crystal Palace are a very strange team; in that you can never tell how they will perform game to game. They can just as easily draw or even beat a top 6 team, as get thrashed by a top 6 team by more than a half a dozen goals.

A win was thrown away. Wholesale changes to the team failed to add quality. The only thing Iheanacho adds is confidence to the opposition. Heads must drop in City's dressing room when his name is read out. He lacks basic skill, speed, effort. We had opportunities in the first half to put the game out of site but missed our chances. Rodgers has to bring in a quality striker who can support Vardy

NAPOLEON ROGERS DOES IT AGAIN....

Palace conceded 10 goals in their previous 2 games and we start with 3 defensive midfielders...
And please no-one tell me that Dennis Praet is an attacking midfielder

Always liked Brendan Rodgers - too top manager (in world’s top 3 right now).
Am proud to be a supporter of Liverpool football club but was ashamed of the disgusting way the club and fans treated Brendan when he was our manager.
Not the first time either as Bill Shankly was disgracefully shunned by his own club and fans when he retired.
Apologies Roy (and Bill) not all Liverpool fans are like that.

Leicester need a solid Vardy type player, someone who can play the double act for a season or 2 then take the reins and becomes the no 9.

I like Ihenacho at City thought they let go of a decent player, but so sure right now. His def not good enough to back up Vardy.

Iheanacho only scores flukey goals, vardy is a machine and should have started any way. Still, I will still take the point.

Agree. Rodgers got that completely wrong. He will never win the league based on what he did today. Vardy had to start

Absolutely agree. Vardy has to start, but if not Perez would be a far better option as a striker than Iheanacho.

Tip for you mate, don't use words that you can't spell right.

Leicester may come to regret today’s result.

Their last 3 games are all against top 6 teams, so I reckon to qualify for the CL they need to be 9 points clear going into these games ...

Beating top 6 isn't a problem for Leicester
Have to put it on here cos no other visible place....
Anyone else think Man City should be marked down as a 3-0 loss?...

Vote up for yes
Down for no
