The farce is finally over, they made this decision months ago and kept it quiet to prevent Albon performing even worse.

All this garbage talk about wanting to stick with Albon was just another Horner lie.
The internet: where halfwits who have convinced themselves that they 'know', can espouse their opinions to the world, dressed up as 'facts'. Removed

Doesn't matter who's in an F1 car as all the driver does is steer and brake, everything else is controlled from the pits and those with the biggest budget win = boring cars just following each other

In the Mercedes team it IS all the car. Hamilton out for a race, George Russell parachuted in and duly proceeds to waltz away for a maiden win - a win! in his first outing in Lewis's car! - until mercedes scored an own goal in the pits.

Mercedes hamstring their second driver, as they don't want a repeat of the toxic Lewis/Nico years. Do you not watch the sport?
Isn't it so wonderful that UK Sport are now funding participation trophies. Of course we will not even get a bronze medal in Paris 2024 but those thing are not important any more. Removed

Before getting excited about Maclaren having a Mercedes engine remember customer engines are nowhere near as powerful as the one attached to Lewis Hamilton's car. Nor are they as reliable. Perez was just starting to work his way through the field when his new Mercedes engine let him down.
