Eh? They're passably effective at inhibiting the spread of microbe-laden droplets of mucus when somebody coughs or sneezes but clearly ineffective at general control of infection. We've had them on buses and in shops for months when the infection rate has been low, compliance has been near total and still the C19 nfection rate has shot up.

Essentially they're all but useless.

Why would you ever think they don't ? There was a chart produced recently from scientific evidence highlighting if two individuals both wear a mask correctly the risk of infection is reduced by over 95%. This virus is only caught by droplets of fluid from an infected person picked up by another. So if the mouth and nose have a layer of protection then logically a mask must help. Its obvious.

My Guinness farts protect me against covid-19 they are so powerful they can clear a crowded building eg Tesco's in under 5 minutes. They have a high level of a chemical called DMSO, which can make holes in membranes and affects those ACE receptors where the c-19 spike protein attaches to. See Daily Edge report.

Everyone has a part to play in making sensible decisions not only about their health and well-being but also the health of those they come into contact with.
Make an informed choice this winter, and own the consequences of your actions.

There is no viability to this vaccine and lockdown has achieved precisely nothing in reducing the numbers of infected.
The only solution is to depend on what we will end up solely depending on anyway and that is our immune systems - all the vaccine does is train it to recognise and fight this virus.

And then one looks at New Zealand and one can wonder what might have been done better.

But it’s all so easy in hindsight.
As if NZ is a comparable country. Idiot. Removed
My last comment was removed because it contravened house rules.
Anything that is critical of our elected dictatorship is taken down.

Too many idiots here in Manchester either ignoring the rules/too stupid to realise...not wearing masks, arguing the case with staff in stores, not distancing, mixing with others and spreading the virus.

These restrictions aren't working because the police aren't enforcing the rules and it means months of restrictions for the majority that are adhering to them. We've got another 3 months of this.

Why are all the top news stories bad news? Why never any good news? Talk about breeding negative attitudes. There was a situation in the 50s where they played music over the news slot because there was “no news”...imagine that!

People who are still planning to mix, and mingle with their family/friends, over christmas should think again!!!
Its madness that you want to risk your lives, or others, for just a couple of days of self indulgence!!!
Stop being selfish, and consider the consequences of your actions, if someone in your family catches/transmits covid to others!!!
A couple of days could cost you your lives!!!

With a large number of people ignoring the guidelines. And a large number only following the guidelines when it suits them, and no effective detterent or sanctions for breaking the guidelines the outcome is innevitable..
