Chancellor Rishi Sunak extends the furlough scheme for one month until the end of April 2021.
Absolutely typical of the BBC they let you make a comment on this but not on the SNP's total failure on the drug problem in Scotland. Removed

They only allow comments about brexit and the conservatives, nothing else seems to be allowed to be discussed.

BBC shortbread do not allow criticism of the Dear Leader. Only the daily worship at 1215 where they cut it off if any journo asks an awkward question.

The drug problem is the same all over the country. If the half-wits are stupid enough to take illegal drugs or abuse alcohol then it's their responsibility. I'm aware that often it's associated with homelessness, deprivation and mental health issues, but there is only so much a government can do to solve those sorts of problems.

Ok auntie Beeb, nice wee story about furlough and its good that its to be extended for those that need it, BUT why don't you make a name for yourself and open up for comments on the real stories in Scotland, Alex Samond investigation, the drugs death figures, the care home manslaughter's, the hospital fiasco's, .The only HYS we have in the Scotland section is furlough being given another 4 weeks! We've destroyed our economy, we've destroyed businesses, we've destroyed our children's futures, we've destroyed everyone's mental health and we're on the way to destroying our currency too. There is nothing cheery about this or anything else from 2020.
When the Xmas gloss has subsided and more people are queuing for foodbanks without any prospects whatsoever millions will be extremely angry.

The Germans have burnt more than us and they avoided the first wave altogether.

Which was crazy since the 2nd wave isn't going to be twice as bad - it's going to be 5 time worse for them as there is no break on it and they have exhausted their populations will to comply especially since they made outrageous claims (like BJ to be fair) about fantasy numbers of deaths.

All hail Sweden

I wish Annaleise Dodds would wind her neck in., all she can ever do is criticise and often on the basis of incorrect assumptions. SOME large companies may have to issue redundancy notices by the 1st January (not in 24 hours) but most small businesses don't have to give anything like that amount of notice, she should read the regulations instead of her fake outrage.

The people receiving a pension today have paid in all their working lives......

Just like you are having to do.

Does this mean you begrudge paying NI for payment of state pensions? And are happy that future generations will not pay yours in turn, when your time comes?

Can you back up your assertion that immigrants get every thing free?
The furlough scheme must end today, it's riddled with fraud - much of it carried out by immigrants. Removed
