Well the race was poor, but I had Ricciardo for fastest lap £5 @ 40:1, so it wasn't all bad!

Good professional race by Verstappen. Hopefully can keep it up for next season and dethrone the Queen.... Oooops Freudian slip. Unfortunately not sure about Albon. I think Russell would make better use of the Red Bull. Removed

I see they've named a straight at Silverstone after Hamilton- in another story on here. I would have though a bend would be more appropriate?

SteH11 WROTE :~

"If LH wants to be considered the GOAT he should allow Mercedes to appoint a better teammate than VB"

No chance ever being anyway near being considered THE GOAT unless proving himself WITHOUT huge Mercedes-Benz assist. Others have done it.

Depressingly uninteresting event today. Mercedes-Benz did not turn up. Clearly turned down so today not IT'S THE best car. Very sad to see.

Lewis is "happy to be alive" after Covid. Are we now waiting for him to say that Covid kills black people more than white and he is now some sort of covid victim!! The hypocrisy grows by the day. If he wasn't well don't race - the audience to watch George would have been three times bigger! Removed

Sorry how did the hypocrisy grow today? Was it by the scenario that only exists in your mind?

Hamilton said after the race: 'happy to be alive' "I am destroyed. I do not feel good. Begs the question why he took such a reckless risk as he could have crashed and possibly killed another innocent driver. Sounds like he has the long Covid and could be a super carrier of the virus..

Then he politics "I always find it very strange to see world leaders laughing it off like it is nothing."!
Lots of drivers have got in to the car after or during illness, when they don’t feel great, but of course it upsets you when the successful brown boy does it.

How dare he talk politics, everyone knows that politics doesn’t effect athletes!

He's not Grosjean, he's no danger. and you laughed when Grosjean crashed, so forget the moral high ground, you're simply a hammy hating racist. Removed

These kind of soporific races will be the death of F1!

Lewis Hamilton - can someone please explain to me how an underprivileged boy living in a multimillion pound mansion in Monaco supports the 'Black Power' movement of the Malcolm X era? or does he not know the significance of the raised black fist?? I can understand footballers, after all they get all the head the ball injuries damaging the little brain cells, but ALL Lewis does is drive in circles Removed

So if you’re rich and successful, you can’t show solidarity or unity (the meaning of the raised fist) in support of racial equality? That doesn’t sound right to me.

Wait! Lewis has to spend his entire day pretending he is Senna....

.... that’s some effort for someone with his intellect and skills.

Hamilton is Prost 1993. Nothing more. As Senna called it: he is behaving like a coward.
