Why don't we call it a Mongolian style deal, that's a bit closer to home and they trade on the same basis as Australia with the EU........
I would shorten the word Mongolia by four letters.

That sums up No Deal.

When will Berexiteers see reality. Working as a team in the EU was always going to be better than being a loner. We have no negotiating strength any more. We've capitulated with the US. I think people will start to see what this really means when costs go up and restrictions come into play and we are all a lot poorer. The writing is on the wall for this Government.
The benefit of which 'everyone' though? Other than Hollywood types obsessed with RP accented villainy nobody outside of "England" cared about the "English" before 2016, and now you're an international joke. Don't be silly! Realism tells us that what the Leavers want for UK cannot be achieved. They want the best of being in the EU without being in. To want to have and not to pay. They want to have their cake and eat it. Just cannot be done.

This is nothing to do with winning or losing past votes . Such a simplistic binary view is pointlessly irrelevant. Such comments are clearly intended to antagonise and make a negative contribution to the discussion.

The debate is about creating a situation where Britain will prosper in current circumstances. A no deal situation will not lead to prosperity.

Brexit is like a religion - no matter what the evidence there's enough people who believe in it (often quite extreme people) who don't care what damage it does - No matter the cost, no matter how many generations we commit to paying off the debt...

I'm still waiting for a real argument in favour of Brexit which isn't a soundbite with "sovereignty" in it or blue passports.

Complete bias in every story I’m reading on the BBC, but can’t comment on. Saying Trump will preside over the most federal executions in 130 years with no mention of the tens of thousands of innocents killed in the middle east at the hands of Obama. As a blue print for a FTA the govt. has consistently referred to a Canada style blue print to outline terms which already exist between the EU and a third country.

This does not appear to be a problem of terminology...

So why is drawing a parallel with Australian terms such an issue? It shows these terms already exist and are working.

Purely the desperation and bitterness of remainers.....

I always said that underlying Brexit ideology was a neurotic desire to see ‘foreigners’ harmed. Out of resentment produced by deluded but failed arrogance, they want to see ‘foreigners’ killed. I said ‘..those people will not be satisfied until they see women and children shot and killed in the channel.’ With the right-wing, ‘our gunboats are ready’ headlines, they are closer to their ugly desire.
